I think 90% of the reviews here are fake! Because this company is terrible. They will ghost you and stop replying anytime!
I would gladly give this company a 0 star rating if it was allowed.
At the beginning they were good, they replied within a half a day, but then, they just ghosted me, they disappeared, no reply, wouldn't answer messages or calls. Terrible company, AVOID!!!
I sent at least 10 messages over 5 days and none of them were replied to. I tried for several days, I tried to call them, their voice messages are full, and they do not return calls or texts! Voice messages full?? What is going on... Several phone numbers, all the same, and some of the phone numbers were even disconnected!!! What the heck?! A company that is not trustworthy at all!! AVOID!!! They will cheat you eventually!
I can help you more than this company can! I tried to understand the import process though our messages, but they just kept saying to me, sign the contract and we will explain step by step, what the heck, really? Make it hard for the customer right??? Trust me, you can do it yourself with the post office in the US, just take your stuff to the post office and ship it yourself, especially if you only have a few boxes! It is not worth dealing with this garbage company. The price at the post office I paid was similar to what they were going to charge me anyway. And it took only five minutes at the red line in Taoyuan airport to deal with it. I worried too much! It is a very easy process, just make sure all your documents are in order before you get to Taoyuan airport. Customs were very nice, understood what I was doing and it was very simply. Buy me dinner and I will teach you myself. Avoid this nonsense company because they will ghost you eventually.
Just think about it, if your goods are with this company and they ghost you, what are you going to do? I am so glad I did not use them. They will cheat you too or leave you hanging like they did me. A horrible company that should just go away.
A typical garbage Taiwanese company that just wants to make money but doesn't want to help or assist customers. They think customers are troublesome even though that is where they get their revenue.
Again, I repeat, no matter what kind of response they give me below, because it is will a typical garbage reply, like, ooh we didn't see your messages, or didn't get your messages, or we were busy, blah blah blah, unacceptable no matter what excuse they come up with. AVOID this company at all costs! Do not consider them! Ship your packages by yourself from the post office to Taiwan. The price will be similar. Trust me, I did it! It took me 5 minutes in the red line at Taoyuan Airport to deal with the incoming parcels, two of which arrived in Taiwan at my house before I even boarded the plane in the US back to Taiwan. It is easy, you do not need a garbage company like this to help you. AVOID This...
Read moreExcellent company to hire. I can't speak for experience as an English speaker, as I speak Mandarin, but for a company that I never interacted with face to face, they were always clear, communicative at every step, and professional. I often wondered if they ever even slept as they were helpful at all sorts of odd hours. I set up a move of 4 cubic meters (about 13 large boxes, including a TV, monitor, and guitar case) of household goods from California (bay area) to Taipei with only about a week's notice, and it all arrived within 5 weeks after packing and shipping.
Everything was conducted through email, LINE, and phone calls. Ship2TW has offices and personnel in both California and Taiwan which gave me confidence that they knew how to handle local logistics at both ends. Whenever I had a question or something was unclear, the representative Anna Su was happy to walk me through the specifics of how to fill out forms, which boxes to buy, etc.
Unfortunately, I had to buy my own boxes from Home Depot and pack everything myself, but I also think this saved quite a bit of money over paying them to pack for me. I also shipped a very expensive TV in its original packaging, and a very expensive, large monitor in UPS packaging (took it to UPS and asked them to pack it for me, came out to $180), and both arrived completely undamaged. The total cost of the move was only half the price of what American logistics companies quoted me, and I'm less confident that American companies can handle the last leg from HK to Taipei with as little trouble as Ship2TW. The local moving companies they hired on both ends were helpful, patient, and efficient at getting the packed boxes where they needed to be, and all covered by my total amount paid to Ship2TW.
I highly recommend Ship2TW for moving overseas in and...
Read moreI contacted Ship2TW to ship my 40 boxes from the US to Taiwan based on the glowing Google reviews. They were able to make it happen at the end of the day. However, the process was not as smooth as I expected. First of all, when I had all the boxes packed and the packing list prepared, I emailed them multiple times without a response. I had to call them for them to give me a quote, which is fine, at least they got back to me. The contract was signed on December 8. The truck company they contracted with told me on the 17th that they were not able to find a trucker to pick up our boxes. We had only three business days left to get these sorted out as we were leaving town on the 23rd. My husband and I had to drop off all the work we were doing and started calling one freight company after another. As you can imagine, most freight companies don’t ship household items or require things loaded in pallets. The companies that Ship2TW were trying to reach out to were no help either. I ended up having to contact UPS and enter the dimensions and weight of every single one of our boxes, print all the labels (I had to go to the local print shop as our printer was packed already) and glue them one by one. I understand there was COVID and holiday season going on, but that was a known circumstance already when the contract was signed. I am surprised that there was no backup plan from Ship2TW and we had to go through all the hassle and pay extra money for shipping on top of the amount we had to pay Ship2TW already. Maybe my experience is rare but I still want to share it just so people can have a balanced view of their service. That being said, I still want to thank the staff who have helped us in the process - Lydia, Dores, and Nicole. I appreciate their time and...
