To store manager,
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the discriminatory treatment I experienced at this store in the car service department. On April 1 2023, I visited store to have oil change, but I was treated unfairly.
As soon as I walked in around 9:30am, I noticed that the staff seemed to be avoiding me. I am the first and the only customer in line at that time. I asked her for the oil change service, She told me that the car service department was booked for the tire change at 10am and can not give me oil change at that time. I asked her if there any other spot, she do not want to tell me any available time slots, just told me to come back and check, Finally I drop off my car and asked her to text me whenever it done during the day.
At 3:45pm, one of their staff called me and ask me what type of oil do I want to change, I responded to him that oil can be same as previous in record or the high mileage one, both work. However, 5 minutes later, I received another phone call from them told me that they ran out all oil, service can not be accomplished and then hangup the phone and not even give me a chance to respond. I have been waiting for whole day if they can let me know earlier, I will have chance to bring my car to other place. I was shocked and upset by this treatment, and I don't believe there is no one in Walmart checking their inventory at all? Remember this Walmart! I also don't believe that I am the only one asking for the oil change that day. I believe that it was because of my race.
This is unacceptable behavior and it violates Walmart's commitment to diversity and inclusivity. Discrimination of any kind should not be tolerated in any workplace or public space.
I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that your employees are trained to provide equal and fair service to all customers, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
I hope that this matter can be resolved promptly and that steps will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening...
Read moreI will say, out of any wal mart I have been to, this one is by far my favorite. I idiotically last minute shopped for an elf on the shelf because ours disappeared lol. After walking around the store for 45 min, I finally decided to ask. Normally I don't because I never get help. I came across an employee named Linda, who WALKED me around the ENTIRE store twice. Just to make sure we didn't miss it. She was very nice, helpful, and fun to talk to. She looked it up, we walked to the spot and it wasn't there. She felt so bad. I had to cash a check and rushed to customer service . Just for a hoot, I asked Melissa if anyone might have returned one. She had literally just arrived to work, but went and vhecked for me. Sadly none. We finish cashing my check, I tell her the whole story, she says, well follow me. It says we have 43 in stocks. She walks me over to where I already checked with Linda, but we crossed paths with VINNY. This man was an absolute Savior. He is head of the items being bought for the online orders I believe? And he made it his duty to find them in the back. He was about to go home, but instead stopped to help me find this thing. Melissa, Linda, and especially Vinny. Thank you guys so much for helping me keep my sanity, and making my daughter the happiest with her elf on the shelf. I really hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. You 3 are what customer service should be about. You were all so kind and...

So I called first to see how much they charged to mount tires when I buy 4 new tires from them, the woman answers the phone "yhmm" or something of that sort so I say hello? Thinking maybe I called the wrong number, you know because usually businesses answer with their business name or AT LEAST a hello, and once again she makes some sort of sound so I look at my phone and it does indeed say that I called the auto center in Walmart, then I hear a hello.. so I ask my question, how much do they charge and she says she doesn't know, I have to call the main number to Walmart to find out (which I had tried first, and they tried connecting me, but auto would not pick up that's why I called directly) so I just said okay thank you and by the way, what time are you open until because I am going to be coming down shortly to buy 4 new tires, she said 7 pm and hung up. So ride! BUT that's not all!! 20 minutes after getting off the phone with her I get to the auto center and the doors are locked. Go to the main entrance walk to the back and they are closed at 5:45!!!! So. No tires. Thanks allot auto care center who doesn't...
