Grossi Family Farm has solid bones and some genuinely fun moments, but my visit felt smaller and more limited than I’d hoped.
What worked Pumpkin sling shot: We won a free pumpkin — easily the most fun activity on the property and worth the admission by itself. BBQ: The on-site BBQ was good and hit the spot after wandering the patch. Setting: Charming farm backdrop and plenty of pumpkins to choose from.
What fell short Too few activities: The corn pit was very small and there wasn’t much else to keep kids occupied for long. Food truck hours: The Mexican food truck closes early (around 2 pm), so don’t count on it for a late-afternoon bite. Value for time: Between limited attractions and early food options, the visit felt over quickly unless you make the sling shot your main stop.
Recommendation Great for a quick, classic pumpkin-picking outing and the sling shot is a highlight. If you’re looking for a full afternoon of activities or a late lunch option, plan accordingly or consider other larger...
Read moreI was so excited to go visit a local family owned & operated pumpkin patch in my hometown Novato, right across from Stafford Lake. Even though my daughter has grown up, I still love to carry on the tradition of getting my pumpkins from a local farm to start the holiday off right. The Grossi Farm Pumpkin Patch did not disappoint and it’s their 1st year!!! Talk about a quant pumpkin patch with space for everyone to run around getting pumpkins and pull carts to carry your pumpkins as you stroll the farm. They have hay bales to climb on, baby farm animals, and the best part was the pumpkin sling shot and more. Soo much fun to take mini pumpkins and sling them as far as you can & as many times as you like. The owners Dominic & Nancy Grossi should be very proud of their 1st pumpkin patch and are a Lovely couple. The Grossi Family Farm is my new place for pumpkins making them my 1st stop to begin...
Read moreOur family of four had a ball today. This is just the kind of pumpkin patch we were hoping to find. It was down to Earth in a great way. Our 4 yo daughter and 3 yo son loved the corn kernel “pool.” It was shaded with an attached tall hay structure to climb and jump off. The hay maze was challenging enough for us but not too much. There were a few very well taken care of animals to visit, including a bunny interaction area. The owner of better with bunnies was kind and upbeat with the littles. We had a great time ending off the trip in the pumpkin patch filled with...
