We recently visited the site on 7/1/19 and we were super excited about the visit, as we been craving for tropical fruits for awhile. Being from the Seattle area, we were looking forward to the tropical weather and beautiful scenery that Oahu has to offer. When we got to the nursery, we found the place charming and laid back. However, we never got the sense of being welcomed and it nose dived from there on in. I have to say that their teenage boy who was at the register does not have any customer service skills and is not cordial. He kept telling us to close the refrigerator door when we just opened it to look at packaged fruits to buy. His sister came out and told her brother, who was at the register, to not hand out any samples because there are more people arriving. Not that I have never tasted these tropical fruits before and can care less about the samples, I just found her comments tacky in front of customers. Their fruit selections was not vast and the run of the mill tropical fruits like bananas, pineapple, dragon fruit, and sapodilla were available. We were not really disappointed about the fruit selections or the availability but rather the poor attitude that they, as a group portrayed. Its a shame really because this nursery was recommend to us by a local realtor on Oahu. Spend your vacation...

This is probably my favorite hidden-gem "activity"/"location" on Oahu. In such a beautiful location - the entire environment here + surrounds is a sight + experience in and of itself. I've gone here twice - the first time there was no honeycream pineapple because they had sold out early in the day and the second time it was not in season, haha. One day!! Such a unique and interesting variety of fruits. The staff is wonderful. The young woman who works the checkout is very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, etc. She has taught us a lot about the fruits they grow and sell and seems to know a lot about the process. I don't think that it is too expensive here, a lot of the fruits are only $1/a piece (only thing that's a bit pricey are the juices, which are marked at $5/cup, but even that's understandable to me, as there's more labor and whatnot that goes into this product...). There's a nice little parking lot set up on the farm. Big favorites are the "brown sugar pear" and (even though it's basic) the fresh mangos here just...

Was not impressed with their customer service at all! And they should make it more transparent on their page about their covid rules because I had to leave my children in the car because apparently only 2 people are allowed out of each vehicle at a time 🙄 we came up as a group with family and they were extremely over strict in my opinion for a business that is all outdoors in the sunlight.they would not let us walk around to look at the plants with our group of 4 adults and 3 kids even tho we all came together..I get asking us to stay away from strangers but telling us we couldn't be together when we came together was silly.. There fruit selection was extremely limited.. I did end up buying a couple things, and will say the fresh squeezed juice was good, but other then that I would not recommend going out of your way to...

The honey cream pineapples are grown here along with other exotic fruits. The honey cream pineapples are low in acid and very sweet. It's much better than the Dole and Maui Gold pineapples in the supermarket. Besides selling exotic fruits, they also sell fruit trees and tropical plants. If you're looking for a particular plant, it might be best to call first to see if it's in stock before driving here. They have a nursery tour for $15 a person if you're interested in seeing what they're growing. You get to walk around with the tour guide and try different types of fruits. You need to call in advance to reserve your spot if you want to do the tour.
