A short walk from the Visitor Center’s parking lot, you will find a beautiful lake surrounded by many native Hawaiian (and from elsewhere) plants and trees. The sign near the visitor center said it’s a 10- minute walk to the lake, but it took us more like 6-7 minutes of easy stroll. The lake had ducks and waterfowls and lots, lots, lots of Koi. Not sure how they wound up at this lake, but it was quite pleasant to see them in the...

Schöner See inmitten einer absolut beeindruckenden Landschaft. Der See ist relativ leicht und innerhalb von 10min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auf dem Weg findet man zahlreiche verschiedene Baum- & Pflanzenarten die einem auf Erklärtafel näher gebracht werden. Am See angekommen kann man unzählig viele Koi Fische beobachten. Es gibt tolle Fotomotive oder man nutzt die Ruhe einfach um sich zu erholen und die Umgebung zu genießen. Der Parkplatz direkt am Visitor Center ist relativ schnell gefüllt, es gibt nur wenige Meter weiter noch einen weiteren Parkplatz auf dem man stressfrei...
