If you are looking for a peaceful and comfy glamping experience, Maleka Farm is a great option! We loved the location, the large and very comfortable glamping tent with sofa, beds with sheets, blankets and pillows, even dresser and drawers. There were plates, cups and utensils in the drawers for us to use and Nan (the owner) provided a camp stove, pots and pans so we can cook. She actually came out to the property and we met her and learned more on the history of the area and the farm. She is very friendly and accommodating! The area is peaceful, quiet, and dark at night. We could sit out at night and see the stars and some planets clearly. Really feeling the solar string lights in the tent, it gave the tent nice subtle lighting. The hammocks outside are a nice touch and I took advantage of it soaking up the Laie sun. There are picnic tables which we used to cook breakfast every morning before we took off on the day's adventures. We met other campers (mainly college students from Canada during our stay). We made new friends and my wife cooked dinner for everyone during our last two nights. It was a great experience! As of this time, the restrooms were being built out so keep that in mind if you are going soon, but they will be done soon and it will be even better! There are public restrooms and showers at the park (1 minute drive), we used the showers at the state park (5 minute drive). We also brought our own portable camp potty and camp shower. We only used the potty a few times late at night and we didn't use our camp shower as the showers at the park were a short drive. We used our camping water bags (5 gallons) mainly to wash our hands, brush our teeth in the morning and wash our dishes, pots, cups and utensils. We had a fantastic time! Our trip was only 4 days and we want to go back again soon! We would definitely stay at Maleka Farm again!

We had the absolute best stay here! We arrived at sunset to gorgeous light across the camping ground and were so pleasantly surprised by the campsite! The tent was spacious, clean (considering it’s on a farm!) and bug free. The double bed was super comfortable and it has lovely little touches like fake plants, drawers for your clothes and string lights for the evenings. We were so cosy at night! It rained a lot the second night but the tent was totally waterproof and its raised off the ground on a platform which is great. We also loved the view of the misty mountains behind rows of vibrant banana trees! So beautiful. The campsite is better than I expected too! It had WARM showers, restrooms, a microwave, cold and hot drinking water (you have to turn on the hot water at the back and wait for it to heat up which took me a minute to figure out!) and an extension cable which I charged my phone on in the morning, which really helped. It’s SO peaceful, we absolutely loved it! You just hear birds. Be warned though, the dawn chorus of nearby roosters and birds is pretty loud from 3:30am - 6ish so take earplugs! It’s lovely but you’ll want earplugs if you sleep lightly! We were in tent #1 and we had brought torches which was good as the short walk across the field to the restrooms is of course very dark during the night. Location is great, there are delicious food trucks a 6 min drive away and it’s a good place to drive from to go to the North Shore beaches. Snorkelling at Shark’s Cove was a highlight! So many fish and a huge turtle! Overall we had the best stay here and were really sad we didn’t book for longer! It’s so peaceful. We hope to come back again!

My stay at Maleka Farm was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning mountain views and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a unique and beautiful place to stay on Oahu's North Shore, this is it. The tent glamping setup was fantastic. I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying my coffee with that incredible scenery. The hosts were so friendly and responsive, making sure all guests felt comfortable and had everything they needed. They've clearly put a lot of thought into creating a special experience. The location is also super convenient, with easy access to beautiful beaches like Hukilau Beach and nearby attractions like the Polynesian Cultural Center and Kahuku food trucks. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind in a serene environment or have an adventurous base for exploring the North Shore, Maleka Farm is perfect. I slept so well feeling safe and sound, and the clear directions made getting there a breeze. I'm already dreaming of my next visit. Highly, highly recommend Maleka Farm for an unforgettable Hawaiian experience! You won't be...
