Amazing place for family and friends. If you are looking for perfectly place to relax and enjoy your family and friends. This place can be very good for you and friends. Clean is important for me. And this place is very clean. This was the fishing place a long time ago. My first time on this place , no restrooms. There’s is a parking spots . No a lot shade.

This is the beach where the famous Hukelua Hawaiian dance came from. Huke-pull and lau-net. It was a big fishing event that envolved the locals of Laie, whole families would participate decades ago. The waves here can be high during high tide, during low tide great for the toddlers. Extremely small waves

Another beauty on the northeastern side of Oahu. Easy to find along Kamehameha Hwy in the town of La’ie. No amenities just a beautiful, serene unspoiled beach. It was a windy day when we visited so the waves were high.

We were body boarding and suddenly saw a a sandbar shark 5 ft away! We swam away quickly and everyone ran out. But sharks don’t usually attack humans so we just chilled and went back in. There were also a lot of dying baby box jellyfish washing up to the shore. They say a lot show up the 7 days after a full moon so maybe this is why. But my bets are on ocean pollution. One of them wrapped around my dads entire leg and stung him pretty badly. So maybe bring white vinegar, baking soda, and hydrocortisone cream for first aid.

Waves can get rough and in the few days after a storm there is a lot of driftwood and island debris so watch out for...

This place was a blast for my young family. Good for swimming and catching some mild yet still fun shore breaks. On the right day you can still get barreled. I spotted one jellyfish floating on top of the water but that’s it. We spent quite a bit of time there when taking a break from the bigger wave spots and never got stung. I only mention that because numerous folks say to stay away because of the jellyfish. Just be aware and keep your eyes peeled and you should be good. Will...

We take the dogs here almost daily and love this beach. This is one of the best beaches on the windward side and few people use it which is quite nice. If you go during the week you will usually find some students from BYU around but they are nice and very respectful. Our dogs love the beach and large grass area to run on. It is a great place, with great views and a lot of privacy. Very family friendly and safe place to...
