Avoid this complex!

All the fields are dirt, no turf, but the grass was well maintained. The concession stand was closed. There was no netting to mitigate the risk of being hit with a foul ball. There was only one batting cage and no bullpens, only the pictured artificial mound, which was dangerously worn.

The mound on the big field was not built to the proper dimensions. The first 12” after the rubber is flat, rather than the first 6”, which makes it very difficult for most players to throw down hill. Many complained it felt like they were throwing on flat ground.

There was, however, plenty of shade at most fields, which is not typical. So that was a positive. And there was no admission fee, but that seemingly in recognition of the sorry state of the facility. It would be upsetting to most to have to pay for entrance to such a thoroughly disappointing facility.

Overall, it was very surprising to us that Ozzie Smith would associate his name with this place. We definitely will not be back, unless we hear of substantial...

Its a very nice facility. But their lack of choices and quality of food for the concession stand is disappointing. Being in the area it Is and the amount people pay to play there they should have a top notch concession. Also there being a playground on one side and not the other is strange to me. Especially with their being a bid open space and plenty of room. Kind of an incontinence for parents wanting to watch a game and watch their kids ok...
