This was my second trip into this store for the same repair on a necklace clasp within a six month time frame. The gentleman (gentle he was not), was looking at my necklace and shaking his head while I was sharing the background and reason for my visit. He rudely and loudly replies, “I’ll fix it free of charge this time, but YOU really yanked on the clasp so hard that it broke”. After he reiterates a few times how I broke it, he starts walking to the back with it in his hands. I said, “Please give it back to me, I do not want you to fix this “. I let him know that I did not deserve to be spoken to in that manner. He just wanted to throw blame and focused on the problem (which was me according to him). She cleaned my ring and checked to make sure that my diamond was secure (free of charge). She also made suggestions about ring sizes and pleasantly chatted with my five-year-old.
