Mi Bandera Supermarket — Local services in Oak Ridge

This area in particular has amazing food for great prices, but this spot in particular can’t be beat! Everyone that works here is very nice, and the service is quick (I can’t even imagine how long the line would be if they weren’t as fast as they are, it literally never stops and the parking lot is always packed). You can’t beat the price either, $4 and you get a whole meal that you can honestly turn into 2 meals. Everything I’ve tried is really good, and they end up selling out of a lot of stuff really quick so I’ve tried stuff I normally wouldn’t order either. They’re usually sold out of my favorite chicken option when I come here which is kind of a bummer, but that’s just a testament to how good the food is! Definitely the type of place where the early you go the better because they’re less likely to be sold out of stuff, but like I said everything including the stuff I normally wouldn’t order tastes...

Look, this place not might be appealing but I’ve been going to this place for lunch for almost 10 years, and yes they might need some upgrades on the appearance but that is what’s probably allowing them to keep the prices so low for such good food.

It is nothing top chef but it is real food and real flavor, for $5 you can get rice, beans and chicken… for $8 you can get rice, beans and beef stew with carrots and potatoes. I mean, who wouldn’t want that?????

The food is always delicious, it’s simple, it’s homemade type of food and it always saves me and my family when in a rush.
