Only reason they got 2 stars is Bryan. Do Not Trust Andrew.
When I got to Orlando and looked a bike I wanted, I conducted a cold start and watched Bryan ride it around the parking lot. It appeared to startup, idle and ride fine. A day after I got the bike home I took my wife out for a ride. The bike rode well at low speeds but when I got out on a 2 lane road where the speed limit was 60 mph the bike struggled getting up to 55 mph and would not go any faster. I advised West that I wanted to return the bike. After being refereed to Andrew he stated that I purchased an extended warranty and to take the bike to a local dealership for repair. I advised Andrew that I could not ride the bike to a dealership because I had to take the highway and that I had no way without renting a truck and trailer to haul it. I asked Andrew if they could send a porter to retrieve the bike and fix the issue. Andrew advised they didn't have the man power to do that. Andrew advised that he contacted a local dealership and they would contact me to schedule a time to pick my bike up for warranty work. After not being contacted for several days I tried to contact Andrew a few times within those days to advise that no one has called from the local dealer (per his request) and he was always too busy to come to the phone. I finally contacted the local dealer myself whom were more than willing to assist me even though they stated that no one had contacted them regarding my situation from West Orlando Power sports. The local dealer advised once they had my bike that the fuel system was filthy and the fuel pump was bad. The fuel pump was covered under warranty but they fuel system cleaning was not covered and cost $160.50. I contacted Andrew at West Orlando Power Sports (once I used a different number and didn't identify who I was I was able to get through to him). I asked Andrew if they would pay for the fuel system cleaning seems how they sold me the bike like that. I explained again that my wife and I almost got ran over several times for a few miles the day after I purchased the bike. Andrew stated "yeah that's the only reason I'm talking to you right now" and refused to pay for the fuel system cleaning. Andrew said I had 2 options either they could send a porter to Jacksonville to pick the bike up to fix it and bring it back or they would pick the bike up and refund my money and I could buy a bike somewhere else. I explained that I wasn't happy with his customer service and that I wanted to work with the GM Josh Fields regarding this issue. After speaking with Josh he said he would pay for the cleaning if I reply to his email absolving them of any issues not covered by the extended warranty from that point which I agreed to. Josh was surprised that I wasn't offered for them to pay for the cleaning. I explained what Andrew had said. I have never been disrespected as a customer as much as Andrew disrespected me. He clearly lied to me, pushed me off and wouldn't follow through with his word until I contacted the GM. Andrew clearly does not care about the customer. He shouldn't be a sales manager or even a salesman for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently purchased my first liter bike from West Orlando Powersports and canāt help but leave a review. Frank was my primary salesperson I was in contact with and he was extremely prompt to all my calls and messages. I never had to wait longer than fifteen minutes for a reply EVEN HOURS AFTER THEY HAD CLOSED. I want to tell my story as the whole experience was a blast. I live in Panama City which is around ten hours round trip, the reason I went with this dealer was because of how clean their motorcycles were, this carries over to all their vehicles as I will talk on later. Once I had settled on a bike Frank gave me his personal phone number I could call or text at any time. Being that I was ten hours away I had one shot and it needed to stick. After a long five hour trip there she was in all her 1000cc glory, my god was she beautiful it was love at first sight, as if the Yamaha engineers had just finished constructing her, and keep in mind this was a USED BIKE. It took me no longer than ten minutes to finish up the paperwork and I was on my way. This was almost a bittersweet moment as every single vehicle they have is in immaculate condition and I was having a blast looking at all their different motorcycles ranging from beginner bikes all the way up to a Hayabusa. They also have enough motorcycle and dirt bike gear to dress an army with and a good variety to boot, ranging from Shoei to Fox. While I was loading the bike onto my trailer one of the employees came out and offered to help me load it. I was not expecting this at all and was just one more reassurance that I had made the right purchase. I WILL be making the ten hour trip again when I inevitably want another motorcycle, I canāt recommend them enough. My only complaint is that they arenāt about nine and a half hours closer, as none of the local stores near me come anywhere close to the quality. Big thank you to Frank and the West Orlando...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to the 2022 Orlando Boat Show with the purpose of buying a pontoon boat. My wife and I had researched what we ultimately wanted and what was available. We cruised the floor and ended up at West Orlando Power Sports and Marine. They had a 20 foot Sylvan pontoon with a floor plan that suited our needs. We talked to the Sylvan rep and then talked to Josh from West Orlando. The price was right, West Orlando Power Sports was just a few miles from our house and Josh was a great salesman (he is the GM) so we bought the floor model as we knew that pontoons in the size we wanted were hard to get. I would give West Orlando Power Sports and Marine 6 stars if I could. Josh gave me a timeline of when I could have the boat and it was acceptable to me. He beat that by 3 days. I bought the boat on a Saturday and because it was on the boat show floor, I would have to wait until it was back at the dealership for a next Saturday delivery. That was Wednesday when they re-opened for business following the show. The boat was in the water on Thursday. I canāt say enough about the crew at West Orlando. Josh, Steve (Service Manager), Oscar and Martin got the boat to a ramp (I did not purchase a trailer because Iām renting a slip) and ran it over to the marina where I was. They took me on a short test drive on the boat and helped me maneuver the pontoon through the marina to my slip. That is outstanding customer service!! Iām a customer service manager and they really impressed me. I highly recommend Orlando Power Sports and Marina. I feel very comfortable on my purchase and feel they will be there if I need them in the future. I am already contemplating adding upgrades to my boat and know that will give me the best service...
