I have been seeing Vanessa for ten months, and as long as she'll have me I'll never see anyone else. Six months ago, when I moved from Oakland to SF, I still didn't stop traveling to OAK to see her. Everything I've asked her for, from "classy funeral" to "goth" to "lisa frank" to "david bowie" she's delivered. I'm hard on my nails too. I wash dishes, I type a lot, I take (at least) daily baths in shea butter, I travel and I never wear gloves, but none the less, my nails stay looking dope. Sheās personable, a great artist, and has a clear love for what she does. Plus ALL her supplies are vegan and cruelty-free. You canāt beat that! Sheās a bit pricier than a āregularā nail shop, and doesnāt take walk-ins, like others do. BUT- and I canāt stress this enough- you get what you pay for! The zen that is not walking into the pungent smell of acrylic/acetone/etc, plus only having 1-2 ppl in the shop instead of 5-10 people at once is priceless.
