I want to like this place, esp because of Jeepney Guys' food. The space has potential and maybe the next time I go I'll have a better experience. THIS EXPERIENCE IS NOT BASED ON FOOD OR DRINK CONSUMPTION.
When I got there this past Saturday at 6:30 pm they were already out of 2 items on their menu. I was a bit disappointed that the lechon was sold out at 6:30 pm. C'mon, that's prime dinner time.
For a Saturday night and during dinner rush hours and at the last quarter of the Warriors game -- they only had 1 bartender. Boo, long wait and no service. I was irritated when I was standing next to my bf at the bar waiting to order when she said ladies first and when to two ladies to take their order... Umm, am I not a lady? Do I get over looked because my taller boyfriend was the one trying to get her attention. We were very clearly been standing their wayyyyy before those ladies, who walked just 30 secs before this happened.
Also, there were quite a few tables open for the taking but no chairs.
Also, their outdoor seating was open but there weren't any heat lamps... No wonder everyone was huddled inside.
Their set up looks trendy, nice, and spacious. Their food and drink menu sounds good. It has potential. But I couldn't tell you since we couldn't get service, nor what we wanted to eat, so we left.

Nice nice place They going to let me HAVE AND HOST A COMEDY SHOW THERE . THE FOOD IS GREAT. (check there web site ) The atmosphere. For it to be in the heart of Oakland's 7th STREET is AMAZING. Went here today for the first time. It's a neat venue with a ton of indoor/outdoor seating and several old and vintage pinball machines.
The food was okay, but extremely overpriced - the burger was $16+ and didn't even come with fries/chips.
The service was SO slow. We were literally four of the 8 people in the venue and it still took forever to get our order. You can't order drinks directly at the bar, instead you've gotta go through their QR code menu on your phone. Just waiting for some beers took 15 minutes.
