Montclair Village Hardware — Local services in Oakland

I've been at montclair at different times when I've needed a varaity of things. It is a medium store that has a lot of items from plants to large tools. I have always been able to find what I'm looking for, and finding the owners or one of there support team. All of them are very supportive of helping you to find what you need. If something you change is not what you want you can return it as long as it isn't opened. I had to do that, and he told me to just bring it back. I do enjoy this store because it reminds me of going with my dad. It is a great place, and they will do every thing they can to help you....

I have shopped here before for various fasteners and hardware and have usually found what I'm looking for, but not always. Today I called asking a pretty basic question about a specific piece of hardware. Whoever took my call tried to help for a grand total of 45 seconds before giving up and telling me to come in and look for myself. The name is a little misleading because it is not in Montclair but it used to be.

This is the opposite of a big box store. It is a small town store. There is someone there who will help you. Maybe even someone you will recognize the next time you go in.

Besides service, sometimes there is free parking (on the side of the building). If you park on the street--you pay.
