We visited Koontz on a weekday in August 2023. We had to enter from the rear of the building where the parking is located. It was a fairly large furniture store. The people were nice and did not follow us around like some stores. But they were available if we had any questions. They seemed to have quality furniture, but I didn't look all that close. They are extremely expensive for what they offer. I liked some pieces. But I was not paying their prices. I just cannot see how they could justify a lot of the prices I read. But if they have enough people to pay the prices that keep the doors open, the more power to them. I have found furniture as well as have had built, quality, solid wood furniture at a substantially lower cost than some items prices in Koontz. So for me, unfortunately, I did not make a purchase...

She asked how she could help and when we said we be just wanted to look, she was gracious and said that she was available if needed. She came and checked on us after that we had looked for a little while and asked if we had a style or room, all in a very conversational way. She suggested some brands in a range of prices, and even gave us two websites to look at color choices. While there we also met one of the owners, who was very genuine. We are moving to the area soon and will buy all our furniture...

Carpet beetles aren't obvious until after a few weeks or months, when they start falling out of the furniture. The couch looked great in the store.
