I am very sad. I see that there are some nice reviews below, but I am afraid I did not have the same experience. I am an experienced antique dealer myself. The reviews below are also from those who bought from the auction, not sellers. I was very careful to communicate with Mr. Brody from our first meeting to the last, but unfortunately, he did not reciprocate. The issue is not the final prices received on the items, I am well aware of market conditions. The issue is that I was NOT TOLD when the family's sale started so that i could alert the family and they could participate and purchase something from the estate. I got no apologies for this lapse in communication, only denials. Phone records were provided showing that a simple courtesy call was not made to me. While I was organizing more items for my auction, Oldhams was holding the auction! He said a few times that "there are a few auctions ahead of me, and to be patient for your sale date" so I was. Big Mistake! A few weeks after our last contact, I get a check in the mail - sale over! No Notice, Nice! Family heirlooms that my cousins were interested in sold at a very very low price without the family having a chance to bid. My impression was that this was intentional - perhaps he has some friends in the antiques business? So I caution you to review the site daily while you await your auction to ensure that you can monitor the sale of your items; Oldham's appears to be too busy to be considerate. There aren’t enough words to say how happy I am with Oldham Auctions and the people who worked with me on my dad’s sale(s)! We had two estate auctions and a coin auction, and they were professional, knowledgeable and fun!! Every item sold, and there were 1000 lots! I explored the possibility of an in-person auction, on-line auction, and an estate sale. This on-line auction was definitely the way to go. Nancy was awesome at putting lots together, and she was very knowledgeable on values and identification of items.. She was also great at researching items.. She and Brody both were very quick with responses if I had questions. Kim, Stephanie and Shay were so helpful with the bidders on pickup days to get their items loaded and to pay. This was so pain-free for me and a great relief for them to take care of it, when I was feeling so overwhelmed. I would definitely do business with them again and give them my highest...

Brody, his father and Kim are all US veterans. They run an awesome business. I purchase from at least half of their auctions to support my own farm and retail business. They are honest, straightforward and supportive of both sellers and buyers. They do have employees that are less than professional and don’t know how to treat customers courteously or professionally. I had a recent situation where I was treated unprofessionally. I made mention of it to the on site manager. I received a phone call from the owner of the company wanting details of the occurrence. He also apologized. So- like any small business, they are challenged with finding and retaining good help.
