Dollar General — Local services in Ogden

Good place to pick up those last minute items. The only reason I give 2 stars for right now, I went in on Tuesday to pick some items up and grab a bag of ice. When I went to the counter to checkout I told the new kid behind the counter I needed a bag of ice also with my other items. He looked at me and said" We can't sell ice to you"....I got the bewildered look and started chuckling to myself saying...You can't sell ice to me...Someone in charge down there either needs to fire this kid or set him straight. You have a big Ice box outside which means you sell ice. I just think this kid was lazy and never should have been hired in the first place. The store I'm talking about is in...

Skip Manhattan DG's and hit Ogden's. Right off the K-18 Ogden exit, on your left hand side as soon as u pull into town. Always friendly staff, and for my needs more convenient than the Manhattan options. I rate Dollar Generals by the area, and this is the third best, behind Riley's.then Wakefield's and a tie with Alma. JC and Manhattan DG's just don't hit like the small town ones! I think it must be because folks are genuinely happy to not have to commute to the bigger towns for work, and the ones in the bigger towns are just full of workers depressed that they couldn't get a better job, while actually living in the bigger towns....Just a...

This is the only convenience store in this town and they don’t have eggs, juice, barely any meat. Idk if the manager doesn’t know how to order or if they don’t care. I’ve also never went inside and they’ve completed and fully put away a truck order, might help with always being out of stock. Lastly, I tried to go inside at 9:55 once and the doors were locked. So like I said idk what going on in there but it’s sad when the gas station down the road usually has more product than you do. Just wanted to give an update because these 3 and 4 star reviews are...
