Today, 04/14/23.I called marketplace and I talk to this lady about my item that I didn’t receive. I told her that I still have my receipt and she told me that I cannot give you your item because you called in too late and she cannot identify the person who bag my groceries so I came in 04/10/23. It was just one item. It was some lettuce. For real! and I asked her can I talk to a manager and she said she is a manager, so I said, OK and she sorry about that and I said no you not bye and I hung up…. anybody that is reading this please this is what is going to happen they do not care about their customers. Customers is always right. This is not like other stores that I’ve been too... They just tell you to keep your receipt if you have a receipt please bring it in and we will give you your item but this store does not do this. and it was just for lettuce that’s all it was. For real for real.

Read moreThere are three people that work at this particular grocery store I came into the store one day looking for a Pacific item these three people did all they could to help me find what I was looking for Velma was at the cashier the other one is Dwayne in the meat department and the other one was Jay in the milk department they went Way beyond what they should have done to help me find the items I was looking for they were really kind in considerate to my needs as a customer the only reason why I gave one star was because of the other management team that is in the produce department as produce manager and the main manager she and that other manager treated me like I was a villain that they were better than I was and I was only there to buy food that is why I gave one star if they had more employees like the three that help me that store would...

We had a chance to stop by and talk to Brandi and Ashley and were very impressed how the Market at Eastpoint has taken ownership of the food desert issue and is having a direct positive impact on the community. The fact that you carry local, Black-owned, and small business products is a plus. The prepackaged fresh meal kits is also a first and a great way for people to pick up a meal on-the-go and prepare it at home! Hopefully your model can expand and be a way to fight back at dollar stores, and convenience stores that nickel and dime communities with snacks and overpriced items. I would encourage visitors and locals to stop by here and not the large chain stores - to show support for a well run...
