Sonic (as a whole company) don't care for people at all. As a gig worker doing food delivery they treating me one of the worst. The constant not having orders at multiple Sonic locations. Sometimes 20 min waits for ONLINE orders. There times they closed and I get an order here. But Sonic still takes the customer's money. And the driver then does not get paid by the gig apps. The employees are too lazy to just cancel the orders when there is an error but Sonic still gets paid. Sonic is a greedy corporation. I should NEVER be the 5th person to arrive to pickup the same Uber Eats or DoorDash order. It should have already been canceled by Sonic before I got sent to me. Also, I should NEVER receive an order if a restaurant is already CLOSED. And I should not be forced to use the drive thru only when they have Kiosks available. Because yesterday at the other location on 23rd and I-35 I waited 10+ mins at the kiosk with no answer from pressing the button. Had to go through the drive thu. Waited another 10 mins in drive thru. Then finally get told by an employee that Sonic does not have the order. So I wasted 20 mins picking up an order that Sonic somehow does not have. This been happening all the time. Because I never got paid to waste 20 a the store. But of course Sonic still stole the money from the customer. FU Sonic. And do better before...
Read moreI made an order in the drive through after waiting 5 minutes at the box to be acknowledged. I was the only car in line. A woman finally acknowledged me with a very loud huff. I ordered one breakfast sandwich, tots and a coke. I drove forward and paid in the card machine and waited. Ten minutes later no one had come to the window. I finally knocked on the window. Three minutes later she came to the window and yelled at me that she was the only person there. I said “I would just like my money back we have to go. We’ve been here for ten minutes.” She said “You will have to wait while I get my manager.” I did not receive my food and after seeing the condition of the workers eyes (which were bulging out of her eye sockets and huge) and her attitude im afraid I’m uncomfortable eating there any longer. I usually only leave good reviews if you check google you will see that. I left and by the time I got to work the $5.24 had been credited to my account. Read moreI normally really like this Sonic location. But after today I won't go back. I ordered through the app, and selected tea with no ice. When it was finally brought out to me about 30 minutes after I checked in, she handed me a tea with ice. I said, This isn't mine. And handed it back to her. This started her attitude and arguing. I don't really care if the receipt says no ice or not, I ordered no ice on the app. Its clearly marked. I would expect a car hop to apologize and replace with the correct order. Not argue with me about how she fulfilled what was on the receipt. And telling me to not get mad, I wasn't mad at all. I just let her know in a friendly way that she brought me the wrong drink. I have plenty of my own problems in life without paying someone to argue with me. Never seen this particular car hop there before but she shouldn't be working there. People who interact with customers should be friendly and helpful. She needs anger management...
