I suffer from ED and I was looking for a clinic that uses Focused Shockwave therapy. Ninety five percent of most clinics will use what's called Acoustic Shockwave therapy. There is a huge difference between the two therapies. The clinics using Acoustic wave will not admit the difference between the two therapies and will advertise their services as Shockwave therapy, but in reality, it's Acoustic wave! Arviv Medical Aesthetics uses Focused Shockwave, not Acoustic Shockwave! I've been thrilled to be a patient at Arviv Medical Aesthetics. The staff has been very professional and their service has been wonderful. I'm now being treated with real Focused Shockwave therapy! Having been treated by the "other" shockwave therapy, called Acoustic Wave, or Gainswave, or Radial wave or whatever wave, it is not equivalent to true Focused or Linear Shockwave therapy. The device that creates the Focused Wave is completely different from the Acoustic wave. When results are studied, every successful test has been done with the Focused Shockwave device, not Acoustic or Gainswave! The Gainswave device is not recommended because it cannot deliver the wave needed to be effective. Having spent a considerable amount of time and money on Gainswave treatments with very little results, I actually called Dr. Richard Gains, the inventor of the treatment that bears his name and asked him about the treatment. I was surprised to find out that he doesn't use his own device anymore because he now realizes that his device cannot deliver what the far superior Focused Shockwave device can deliver and the positive results that are being reported with Focused Shockwave. The names of the devices that deliver true Focused Shockwave are made by the following companies: Storz, Duolith SD1; Omni Spec, ED1000; Piezowave 2; and Renova. The Storz company also makes the Acoustic wave device for Gainswave so don't be fooled if you see the name Storz on the machine. Look for the label that states the model, Duolith SD1. To be clear, Acoustic wave therapy has it's place in the medical community and is used a lot for muscle and joint pain but it's not designed for ED. I called and the office staff was so helpful answering my questions ! I came in for threading , fillers and hair removal I've just started got the threading also an injection for under my eyes I will be back for finish up treatment of Bellafill I'm excited ! staff was kind and patient Dr. Was absolutely amazing woman knew what I will needed and how to move the threading and injectable in my face she handled my face as if she was sculpting I am very thankful. The young lady That did the procedure of the hair removal was also so kind and gentle thank you all sincerely Nancy Rivera can't wait for my follow up appointment.

Okay so this is my follow up review 😀 I went back in for my appointment for the bellafill it's awesome I can't stop looking in the mirror the Dr. did an amazing job on my face she again goes from one side to the other making sure it's even and again she has hands of a sculpture I can't tell you how important it is for someone to be trusted with your face and money this bellafill is not cheap and it lasts 5 to 10 years . she injected 2 syringes and I still have 3 syringes for her to use !!! I also asked her to straighten out my lip I fell when I was little and busted my lip well that was crooked LOL I can't believe the difference she made my lip look amazing I can wear lipstick now all the subtle stuff has made such a difference she injected a filler under my eyes to remove the sunken look please if u ever trust someone please know it is this young Dr. with all your concerns I have so much more to have done and again can't wait to return also I received hair removal this young girl is also amazing the one treatment has made me realize I'm going to get all over body hair removal it's amazing!!!l I'm 57 and thankful for the office staff to be so kind an all of Dr Arvivs assistants 😀 being on the same page I trust this office no pressure sales only honest response I have many other concerns to have accomplished I am able to trust them and you can to !!! I came here for laser hair removal and after 10 sessions I still have hair growth all over my legs and hair still on the brazilian area. When I reached out with my concerns, the manager called me and asked me to grow the hair for 2 weeks and come in so she could personally review my results, but when I drove 35 minutes to the appointment, I arrived and was told she wasn’t even there. Instead, I met with a technician who did one of my previous sessions, and I was told I’d need to pay per session to continue, and she estimated I would need 4-6 more sessions to achieve hairless results.

At my last laser appointment, I had a different technician and she reviewed the settings that had been used on me for my sessions. She said she did not like those settings at all and was going to adjust it. She said the prior settings used on me weren’t appropriate for my skin tone, which I am assuming explains my lack of results. I repeatedly asked during treatments if my progress was normal and was reassured that we could get me hair free by the end. Clearly, that wasn’t the case.

After investing so much time (Started treatments January 2024 and have been going every 8 weeks) and money, I expected the results I kept being told I could achieve. After looking at some recent reviews, it looks like improper settings have been used on others, and it even led to burns.

I had an extremely disappointing experience, and the manager showed no concern in addressing my issues, as she didn't even show up for the appointment she had personally scheduled with me and hasn't responded to my follow up email.

I do want to leave a positive review for Anastasia, though, who did my last laser session. She was incredibly kind and texted me a few days later to follow up with me. I am thankful for...
