Oldsmar Pier — Local services in Oldsmar

A very family friendly little park. There are pavilions for picnics, clean bathrooms a small band shelter all along Tampa Bay. I enjoy just popping in to walk out on the pier and enjoying the people. Often you will see a family birthday party going on, the kids seem very happy here with playgrounds and somewhere to get their feet into the mud. I enjoy seeing the dolphins, birds, small crabs. We spotted some stingrays this past visit and enjoyed chatting with the fishermen. A simple quiet spot with a typically friendly crowd. A few teens were practicing for their marching band routine. The pier is nice and theres also a big field in front of it with pavillions, and a park not far at all. I usually fish the pier at night when the best fishing is, but the downfall is it closes at 10 and ive gotten kicked out for it being "after hours"

This is a nice community pier attached to the southern shore of R. E. Olds Park. While you can fish from the pier and/or the nearby shorelines, there is not a bait shop. I haven't been out there to verify it but last time I was there, they also lacked a fish...
