Oldsmar Cares is an a wonderfully caring place filled with even more amazing people! I started volunteering there almost a year ago and discovered first-hand just how much of a blessing it is to our community. Oldsmar Cares is filled with outstanding volunteers with kind hearts who work very hard to keep the facility in tip top shape and make sure that all members of the community feel welcome and accepted the moment they walk through the door. Oldsmar Cares truly helps people in so many different ways that community members don’t even realize. They are such a good neighbors! I simply can’t say enough nice things about this organization and volunteering there is the highlight of my week. Last year I was homeless in Florida for 6 months, not all in the same area but for the few months I had spent in Oldsmar this organization was my biggest blessing! While being homeless living in a tent and at times the streets your biggest fears, concerns, and worries are what we as people don't even usually consider or think about through out our daily routines and lives. Which is what? Your basic needs being met, and as a homeless your goals are to work, to find food, water, a place to sleep, someone that'll hire you maybe, to find something cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold. Oldsmar cares can't always give you everything but for the most part their help is above and beyond! The sweetest and caring people I've ever met volunteering their free time to help those in need. Oldsmar cares help my family and I more than I'll ever realize. I was a victim of theft and being a single parent on disability my complete income for the month was taken from me while out taking care of errands. Oldsmar cares helped keep you my utilities on and my water on. I can't thank everyone enough for the help that was given to my daughter and I. I think God for having Oldsmar cares available for the residents here in Oldsmar that are in desperate need. Once again thank you so very much for the generosity and the help!
