Very good weekly sales! The first sentence was my original review but I'm updating it after my experience this past weekend. FF had a wonderful 3-day sale on catfish nuggets that started on May 23, and ended on May 25. On May 24th, after work I stopped by this store but wasn't surprised when I saw that they were out. I asked a person from the meat department if they expected to have more and I was told yes, but I should come back on Saturday morning. The store opened at 6am so I stopped in at 6:45am. There were still no catfish nuggets on display but a person from the deli told me that the meat department personnel usually won't come in until 7am or so. I left to go grab coffee and then returned at about 7:30am. The nuggets were still not out so I asked a female from the meat department when they would be put out. She did say that they were indeed in the store but they probably won't be put out until the manager comes in later. According to her, he would need to dig them out and that will take some time. She could not give me a timeframe but said I should be okay if I came back in the afternoon. She asked for my name and how many pounds I would like then said she would set some aside for me. It wasn't until I went to the FF on 144th and W Center St then learned of an experience that my best friend had earlier the same morning at the FF on Saddle Creek, that I realized how poor and lazy the service I was given at the 108th St FF. First at the 144th FF, same thing, there were no nuggets on display when I arrived HOWEVER, I asked an extremely nice man from the meat department when they would be put out and he said, well I can get some for you now. He asked me to wait for about 5 minutes while he go to the back to get them. He asked how many pounds I want then asked if it were ok if he put them in one package. It couldn't have been a better shopping experience. While there, I decided to get a couple of steaks, some brats, five loaves of bread, and couple of other things. I spoke to my best friend who visited the Saddle Creek store on the same morning and he said when he arrived the nuggets hadn't yet been brought out but he asked a young kid where they were and the young clerk said to him, let me go and package some for you. Contrast those experiences to the lazy meat department clerk at 108th St who tried to make me think that the nuggets would need to be dug out by the manager as if they were brought to the store in a dumpster. Nevertheless, I did not go back and likely won't. The 144th St store appears to value customers more and from this point will get my business.

I love shopping at this store. It's clean, the workers are friendly. The produce is fresh. I rated them a one star due to their mask policy for Covid-19. All national chains require customers to wear a mask. On Friday I confronted a fellow customer about her nice mask. (She wasn't wearing one) Her comment was that the store is outside omaha city limits. Heck I didn't know covid knew boundaries. I went to the customer service manager and asked their policy. She said they would like all customers to wear a mask. Monday I spoke with Jim the store manager and he basically expressed the same thing. I asked Jim to send me the contact information for the corporate office... I still haven't received that email. I urge you to boycott any and all businesses that do not REQUIRE a mask.

One year later from the last time I was here, same man at the deli/fried chicken counter, extremely rude. Didn't want to make eye contact, talk or be polite in any way. Felt like he didn't want me there. I didn't even bother ordering this time. I walked out cursing. Why is this man still working here??? I wrote a review about this man last year. Scroll down.

I went in the store to shop. I needed coffee. I wasnt sure if the pods or cups would fit inside my keirig at home I just opened the cardboard box which the cashier has let me do before in the past to see if it's the right size or not. The silver bag was sealed shut. I didn't open that. I knew if it's in a silver bag that it's the wrong one for my keueig. It's too small. An older lady came over to me wearing a black shirt and black curly hair around 1:25pm ( not sure if she was a manager or not and I didn't get her name. In a very rude and mean tone of voice, she said to me, Did you open that ? I said yes the cardboard to see the size, however the Silver bag is sealed shut. She said you have to buy it now. I said it's the wrong size and she didn't care at all. She didn't even try and have any customer service with me at all. She looked and acted very mad. I thought that was very unprofessional. When I got up the cashier she proceed to stare at me giving me dirty looks which made me very uncomfortable. I told the cashier what happned and he said I'm sorry it's not open and we can just tape the cardboard back up anyways. I realizef that after i bought it and came right back in with my receipt that is what they most likely would have done because it's not open. Anyways I just wanted to share this negative experience that I had here. I won't be going back there to shop anymore. I will be going to Hyvee. They are so much nicer there to me. Maybe next time I will go up to customer service and ask them to check it for me. I was just trying to save a trip back. Hoping that lady does not treat any others like that and learns how to address things in a much nicer way. Sadly this is the world we live in and some people...
