Family Fare Supermarket — Local services in Omaha

I would really like to rate this a 3.5. Generally good service by all employees, particularly the checkers and hot food service workers. The recent remodeling was a bit disappointing - took away about 1/3rd of the meat dept. (booze must have a much higher profit margin). Much fancier new frozen foods cases but veg still not displayed well - have to reach in and lift up bag to see what it is. Thank goodness they didn't seem to touch their very good produce section too much. The locally baked bread is quite good - particularly Seeded Rye. Overall the prices are competitive now (but occasionally really out of whack on certain items), which means they seem to have come up a couple of % since the remodeling. Never seem to see a manager there, although the cust. svc ladies are very good. The only major complaint I have is the dearth of diet products in almost all product areas - even worse than HV. Would be really nice to have a Trader Joe's on this...

I shop st family fare very regularly qs'it is about two blocks from my home. It's more out of convenience than actually love of their products. I think the prices are average, reqdonqble, qnd competitive, compared to baskets qnd Hy-Vee. Of course, I try only to purchase items on sale or with q coupon usually, but it is very know ce to be able to stop in everyday or three times in one day to get the essentials when needed. I feel like my location would be far more desirable if it had qn update or q remodel in the future. It's just an older building qnd it's not really spacious qnd open. The newer stores out there on 180th pqcificish are so roomy and clean feeling Also the lest dept qnd the produce are always falling short compared to Hy-Vee qnd baker's. I have made auite q few friendly faces though with staff, who are mostly pretty friendly qnd welcomin, except for the old guy who stocks the eggs qnd milk. He's hard of hearing and hqs horrible...

If you go to the restroom one of the employees will follow you in the restroom and act like he's washing his hands. This happened numerous times. Also when I was waiting for my Uber the night time manager came sat four feet away from me just to monitor me to see what I could be doing.I been a paying customer to this establishment . I get treated like I'm stealing. This location really comes off very prejudice and a trace of racism. I don't want it to be about race but every employee is white. I have not a different race...
