Came in a couple of weeks ago to try this new place out and it didn't disappoint! The food here is made with high quality ingredients prepared by people who know how to execute properly. The menu selection is not very large even during brunch on Sundays but all items we ordered were delicious! The loaded mac and cheese was served piping hot with a super creamy cheese sauce and plenty of chicken and bacon. The rigatoni was a great noodle to use here and made getting every drop of sauce from the bowl easier. They offered a chorizo hash with eggs and it was delicious and spicy. The egss were cooked perfectly as were the potatoes and the chorizo was spicy and delicious. Ordered the Korean pork taco as well as their quesa-birria taco and found both to be delicious. The quality of the ingredients really shines in everything they make here and the price reflects that but it is still well worth it for the great flavor all these items have. Of your looking for a locally owned mom and pop shop cranking out the a great mix of Asian/Mexican cuisine, you have to come to...
Read morePrices are right. Service was pleasant. Space was clean and orderly.
Elote bites were good in taste, but they were room temp in the center. The sauce and cheese on the plate were huge boons in flavor to the masa, corn, and cheese balls.
Surf and turf tacos were good. Shrimp wasn't rubbery, pork belly was tender, and the radish and pickled onion added a good crunch. Salsa verde is always a welcome addition. And the spicy crema-like sauce was perfect for adding a little heat to each bit. The absolute star of the tacos was the tortilla. Truly delicious tortillas.
The rangoon fries were delicious. Fries remained crisp despite being dressed with the rangoon components.
Horchata coldbrew was a miss. The relative small amount of coffee was vastly overpowered by the horchata, but even the horchata was overpowered by the caramel.
Everything considered, I'll be back to try more of the tacos, maybe a burrito, and the rangoon...
Read moreThis place is amazing! The food is delicious and expertly presented. The staff, especially the lady at the front counter, were extremely friendly and helped me choose from the menu. I ordered three types of tacos - Korean, queso, and birra - as well as a side of Elote tots.
The Korean and birra tacos were fantastic, with the Korean being my favorite. While the queso taco was good, it didn't quite measure up to the other two. The Elote tots were my absolute favorite part of the meal.
The only reasons why I didn't give this place a perfect five-star rating are because I think the tacos could be slightly cheaper by around $0.50 to $1, and I think they should offer a meal deal where you can choose two tacos and a side. Nonetheless, I will definitely be returning to this place and may even change my rating...
