Love this place. Just reminds me of the America of yesterday that today is spiraling down the drain. If you've had a bad experience, you were probably being unreasonable with them at some point. As for the higher prices on ammo and reloading - IT IS RETAIL YA GOONS. They pay the overhead, they stock things NOBODY for 30 miles stocks, they cover the HAZMAT licensing and fees, and heaven forbid they try to make a buck for their effort!!! This is an old school store. If you can't handle that, go to Gander Mtn. Reloading prices shocking? Well they didn't shock me! And in fact, buying a pound of powder or 1000 primers for 8-9 extra bucks compared to big box stores is well preferred especially when you take into account the cost of driving to Montgomery or Columbus and/or paying shipping and a $35 HAZMAT fee. I like the place. Took me a few visits but finally got the older gent at the gun counter to perk up when I asked if they ever get any Model 70s in my favorite deer caliber that nobody shoots anymore. Only thing I really dislike is the clutter in the gun area, makes me nervous that I'll accidentally knock a high-dollar...
Read moreThe store seemed to have a good selection of guns and accessories. However, not a single employee seemed to take interest in the fact that I was in there. All the guys at the gun counter were standing around in a wad, giggling like little schoolgirls. I hovered in a couple different spots near some handguns I wanted to see, but they never offered to help me. I guess because I didn’t drive up in a lifted truck or have on khakis and a PFG shirt, that I wasn’t worth having as a customer. Didn’t have that problem when it was Storey’s… when these people bought it, the new name should’ve been Ruinolds instead of Reynolds. But I can promise they don’t have to worry about me coming back again…. Seriously, If I was standing outside the store and zombies attacked, I would cross the street and break a sharp stick off a tree before I would go inside and buy a...
Read moreStaff is condescending and are not respectful to the average customer. They only give attention to customers that appear to have a lot of money instead of treating all customers equally and unconditionally. They made fun of my bow and refused to cut arrows for me. They are lazy and wouldn't lap the scope rings when they installed a new scope on a rifle for me. They wouldn't bore sight a different rifle, claiming the muzzle would be too difficult to work with. Again, lazy, and incompetent, for that matter. But what really put a sour taste in my mouth was when they wouldn't accept a return for a $300 gun case that I purchased because it had one little scratch on it. I have shopped a lot at Reynold's, but I honestly cannot say that I have ever had a positive experience. I will NEVER shop...
