The main reason I joined was to swim, last time I tried to use the pool I was told by the lifeguard (bobby) that I can't go in the pool with my jammers (literally swimming jammers and I was wearing underwear under so it wasn't extra revealing) he wasn't able to give me a reason though, so i went to the front desk and got no answers either, I called the aquatics director for answers, it's been over 2 months and I still haven't got a call, text , email etc , to add insult to injury he did allow a mom and her kids on basketball shorts and graphic tees to get in the pool even THAT is against the rules ,also I went to the ymca site and funny enough they have a picture of the same jammers i was wearing on their " recommended swimwear " this is ridiculous, if you're going to hire highschoolers at least train them properly, this feels like an unprofessional bad joke. Something better be done soon or I'm canceling my membership. I want to know I'll be...
Read moreI love the Y! They’re the only gym I trust (everyone else is owned by ABC which makes it difficult to cancel.) I have had to go on hold for my membership due to life events and hardships. The Y has always respected this without troubles or manipulative interrogation. Staff is prompt in solving my issues and answering my questions. It’s a wonderful price for a pool membership alone. I needed to go on hold recently and received a phone call immediately with options to enroll in a scholarship and felt genuine concern from staff. I don’t feel valued in this way elsewhere so I truly appreciate the effort here. I think this is a great asset to our community and feel personally connected to this service. Thanks again to all staff. Shout out to Aida for assisting me with holds and also one lifeguard unsure the name who always offers to assist when I...

Some areas lacking, such as how the front desk handles some issues and these are locked to a few certain employees so I know when to approach an issue with them. Beyond that, there's a great pool with hot-tub spa, dry-sauna, and wet-sauna; two full-featured (and redesigned) locker-rooms for either (bio) gender with lockers, restrooms, and showers; a free-weight room, a cardio room (with more machine weights), two indoor basketball courts and one outdoor basketball court, two racquetball courts, workout classes (many per day), a full-functioning day-care, a skate-park, and a soccer field. I'm sure I am missing some things, however all of these facilities wind together to create a wonderful atmosphere that the YMCA...
