I was at West Marine picking up a VHF Antenna I ordered while at Sea. I happened to notice Seacoast Marine and still needed some fittings for installation. I walked over and was met by Jeff. I told him I needed an end to crimp or solder on my antenna. But wasn't quite sure if my regular crimp tool would work. Jeff walked me through my options. He said for $4.00 he could crimp the end on right then. My dilemma was the drilled hole through the pilothouse for the antenna mount was only big enough for the cable. I didn't want to enlarge the hole. Jeff said his crew was busy for several more hours, but could be out at the end of the day. We got talking about NMEA 0183 & 2000 since my electronics are old. Jeff called me later in the day and said he'd be out personally to crimp on the end. Jeff made sure the cable remained long enough to move the radio in the future. He answered all my questions (free advice) about how my systems all "talk" to each other. I highly recommend Seacoast Marine Electronics! The price was only $60. One call to Seacoast Marine Electronics had Chris at our boat within an hour. He quickly diagnosed a corrosive busbar, and gave me recommendations to make the simple repairs myself.

Chris was personable, efficient and completely professional in his approach. And the best part? Due to how quickly he diagnosed the issue, he refused payment!

How refreshing to find quality work AND a wonderful sense of fairness! I was prepared to at least pay for a service call, but was instead rewarded with renewed faith in the goodness of my fellow man!

Just upgraded all our electronics (Raymarine) on our boat and installation was performed by another company. Unfortunately, there were a few areas not completed to our satisfaction. Came into Oriental and called Pete to help resolve one of the issues so we could continue our sail. Pete was very accommodating and came by to fix the problem. Not only did he fix it, but highlighted other areas of concern. I wish I would have contracted Seacoast from the beginning.
