On May 5th I called to inquire about having a tabletop made for a kitchen nook we had custom made and installed. I was told to email them as the woman I needed to speak to was with a customer. I did so with some of the details, pictures, drawings and said I needed help with design, overhang, etc... I was told I would receive a phone call back to discuss further. The next day I get an email from Connie who was clueless as to why I was emailing. I gave her the rough dimensions and she finally called on the 8th three days later. We were having some discussion about samples as we were interested in using Quartz. I told her the brand and color we were most likely to use. I was very specific and asked if she could come out to help and bring this sample and maybe a few others so I could see it in my own home under my own lighting. She insisted that I come in and I said that was not necessary I simply needed some help with design and needed to see it with my granite and lighting. She said she would have a sample of the Quartz sent to the house and to take a look and let her know, she would help with design and dimensions no problem. Fast forward to May 26th and I have still not received any samples in the mail so I call again to ask what the status is. It was clear by the phone call that she had not ordered the samples after our last conversation (she did not admit this). She tells me she cannot find my file that she will look and call me back. Two days go by and I call back again and she says she still cannot find my file... She asked for my information and sent the email that day to the company asking them to send the sample. On June 2nd she emails me the proposal and asks if I recieved the samples. I had received them and was busy until today, June 5th. My wife called and spoke with a woman, not Connie asking to set up the time to have Connie come out and measure the lady set a time to come on Monday between 9:30-10:30 to go over everything and we would place the order. I quickly get a phone call after she hung up from Connie saying my wife just called and I confirmed. At this point, for the first time, she tells me "I told you the first time we talked I do not come out for tabletops I only come out for kitchens". I said this was the first time she mentioned this and if she had told me this our conversations and relationship would have proceeded very differently. I would have dealt with the correct person from the beginning. She proceeded to argue and be very condescending to me. I told her she was making it very difficult to do business with them and I was rather shocked how she was talking to me. She told me she was not trying to be difficult and I assured her she was being exactly that. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to come in to see everything they had and I said I know what I want and that is not necessary I just needed help with design. She continued to be disrespectful and confrontational and said no I needed to come in and meet with Jake to go over everything could I come in tomorrow and I said that was not possible. I asked how is he going to help us unless he can come out and look at our base and take all the correct measurements. What good is it to go there and talk about it we were ready to order and he would not be able to measure and help with final design if he was not present in our home. She started chuckling quietly as she had been through out the conversation and I inquired when he could come out to meet with us. As I was asking she started whispering to someone. I finished my questioned and waited several more seconds and she continued to converse with someone else. At this point I had enough and hang up the phone. Even after telling her how difficult she was being and reminded her of the fact that she did not order our samples, did not return phone calls, and now was changing her story in the manner in which she would help us, she never tried to be nice, polite, or apologize, nothing! I will be looking elsewhere. I would not recommend them. What terrible sales and...
Read moreMy wife and I had a great experience with the team at Stone Crazy. We called Connie and she told us to come in and pick the material then gave us an appointment to meet with the employee who would measure and make the templates for our kitchen. He did a fabulous job. Then She called us and gave us an appointment to meet with their fabricator to lay out our kitchen on our slabs from our templates and to pick the finished edge we wanted. From there we were given an install date that we were shown was assigned to their large wall calendar. That Friday before our Monday installation we received a call to inform us they would be there. They were and they were there exactly on time. I cannot express how pleased I am with their Granite installer. Very Professional and in charge of his crew. The experience up to this point was great but, the installer hit the home run out of the park with all the bases loaded. He went above and beyond. It's the installer who can make or break the job. I can tell you this from past experiences. We are now going to do 2 bathrooms and we will definitely be returning to Stone Crazy located at 3781 Commerce loop...
Read moreStone Crazy is the best fabricator in town, period. I had interviewed 3 general contractors to take on 2 bathroom remodels and each one mentioned the work of Stone Crazy, each GC also had other recommendations but all had Stone Crazy at the top of their list. Once we decided to move forward with a guest bathroom and master bath remodel; I met with Traci at Stone Crazy; she was personable, honest, relatable, and a pleasure to deal with. Not only did she work with me on various choices of quartz but she also worked with some crazy deadlines I gave her for the job. I was able to meet the owner Jake, who you can tell is an expert and assured me of a quality job, and Stephanie and staff worked the timeline to make sure all measurements and install dates were aligned. I happened to get the same install crew on each of the bathrooms and they were thoroughly, cautious, and clean. I couldn't ask for a better experience and money well spent. If only I had more...
