Do not waste your time applying for the homeownership program to build your own home. Seems like they open the application portal from time to time to gain application fees just to deny your application. I thought this was a program that helps the less fortunate but that's not the case. Even with an above 650 credit score they will somehow still deny your application even though it's stated it needs to be 650 plus.
