Heiser's Ace Hardware — Local services in Orwigsburg

The customer service here is above anything you will find in a big box retailer. Placed a mobile pickup from STHIL and got a call the day following my order that it was ready. I received a copy of the invoice, my saw and all the accessories. They even kept the box of the chain that the specs called for.

Extremely small but impactful ways this store has shown itself to go above and beyond was offering to help take the saw to my car when I had my son with me. Through interactions on the phone and in person both have been so overwhelmingly positive.

I went to Heisers for one specific item, which happened to be right next to a little desk, where 3 employees were sitting 'talking' with each other. I was having trouble finding the item I was looking for, and not one of them even looked in my direction to help. Not even when I had to get on my phone and do a video call with someone so they could show me what I needed. One of the worst hardware stores i have been in as it comes to customer service. I walk in and the cashier is too busy on her phone and didn't even reply when I said hello. The other guy in the store which I gather was her boss was not very friendly or helpful either.
