Lakewood Alarm — Local services in Osage Beach

We have used Lakewood Alarm for a few years now... in three houses! They have been great to work with over the years. At the first installation, they explained the hardware options available in current technology, and how the system would work. They offered suggestions for customizing cameras and ideas that other customers have used. One feature I really like is smartphone apps to arm/disarm the system, as well as a separate "live view" app for the cameras - really handy when out of town. They were very responsive when we moved and were able to move over a lot of the hardware to the new house. I feel like they know who I am and I like being recognized when I call with questions. I recently had Lakewood install surveillance cameras and security system at my business. I had been advised this would be a difficult 2 day install so was prepared for the worse. To my surprise, the crew arrived on time - looked over the store and decided the best way to place the cameras etc that would look the best while providing the best coverage. The crew was professional, friendly, co-operative and did a fantastic job. They even worked in a way that allowed me to keep the shop open for business during the install. Miles made appointment to meet with me on 9-20-24. He never showed up or called. I called him again on 9-25-24 he said he forgot & that it was SO unlike him! He was here for over an hour, quoted $2K for 8 cameras + DVR box. 10-23-24 close to a month later I called him again. He said he's been in & out of the hospital and is having money problems & that there is nobody else there. He forgot my name, address and everything about being here, said he needed to come back. So here we go again. He showed up & showed me his paperwork with the new cost of over $3800.00! I had a feeling with all the 'mistakes' that there was something wrong with him. I kicked him out....
