Ripley County Fairgrounds — Local services in Osgood

The Fairgrounds were stupendous! From the gate to leaving, well after dark, the entire evening was filled with food, fun & lots of trucks! At an exit gate was a young entrepreneur selling lemonade! Had to have a cup as you leave to wash the food & fun down! The track where the trucks raced (a 250' drag strip) was dirt that was tilled & then packed. Even with dry conditions & 90 degree weather, there was little dust! Minimal dust was thanks to the local fire department for misting the areas. Great job, OVF&R (Osgood Volunteer Fire & Rescue)! The best food was at trackside! A stand hosted by the OVF&R Ladies Auxiliary! Good food served by wonderful people! Proceeds went to the fire department (OVF&R). They also kept the softdrinks & water well iced & available to prevent dehydration in the intense heat. Can't wait...

Best prices on trash bags I've ever found ! Love the large bird food and feeders selections available ! I didn't care much for the free coffee even though It was a k- cup !? And I love coffee ! I haven't tried the free popcorn yet. Super helpful employees and I love animals are welcome to shop as well ! Such a nice large selection of merchandise. Never had a bad experience here ! I have been shopping this rural king for approx three years now. I'm sold !...

All the people seem very busy every time I go in with any questions about the kids' 4-H stuff, so questions are answered without any explanation unless you ask for it...sometimes several times. Maybe they're seriously understaffed and/or I have unrealistic expectations, but I don't think I should have to feel like I'm interrupting them to ask them a few questions since that's what they're supposed to...
