Having just move to Iowa recently I've had to buy some of the necessities we need to equip a new home, did not find any affordable lamps that suited my taste, picked up a couple shirts, baking pan, curtains and a set of sheets, $36.00 pricey for second hand discards but supposed to be for charity right? As I was walking out the door I held it open for a couple walking in donating an arm full of lamps, the gentleman thanked me and asked if I could use a lamp, go figureš I greatfully accepted a small hurricane style lamp circa 1970? As I was packing it into my bag the couple walking past on their way out. Once they left I was informed that I had to pay for the lamp that was gifted to me by the generous couple, imagine that, I certainly won't be shopping there...

I find it offensive, because all of their enventory, is absolutely free. I don't want to pay antique prices for thirifted item's. Friendly and helpful and thereās one lady with short dark hair that always remembers me since day 1 and makes a point to say hi and ask how Iām doing. Yesterday she made sure to let me know to check out the size small shirts since they were half off and Iām a small. Iāve found so many treasures and so much stuff for my daughterās college dorm...
