Red Brick Boutique — Local services in Ottertail

If this review was just for the clothing and style uniqueness - 5/5 for sure! Unfortunately it is not... My mom and I were spending a fun day together and spent about an hour in this shop on Saturday afternoon. We were not acknowledged or helped by any of the many workers at the shop. They were definitely fully wrapped up in some sort of fashion show that was going to happen once the store closed at 3pm. Racks and tables were moved while we shopped, which was also confusing. Teen models were walking throughout (without masks while the rest of us had to wear masks). The only people acknowledged coming through the door were those the employees knew, everyone else was ignored. With my arms full of clothes, I finally asked an employee if I should just help myself to a fitting room and they just waved toward the fitting room and said "yeah, yeah - help yourself!" which was the only interaction we had with an employee. We ended up spending $200+ there, but would definitely not go out of our way to go back - it was such a weird, cliquey vibe. If you have another event, it would be helpful to have at least one person still dedicated to helping people in the store and to maintain a sense of professionalism. That is a big part of what makes boutiques so special and I would MUCH rather shop/support local than...
