SVE Is more than just an equestrian school of top quality...it's simply magical!!!

I have been taking lessons there 2-3 times per week for 2 1/2 years so basically I am there a lot! I have taken lessons over the years but never have I encountered trainers of such a level of professional as I find here!! We are a big family having fun at what we love best!

The way they care for their horses inspires me and have taught me so much about this...they are all loved by all! I now know how my own horse must be treated!

The smallest children coming in for their classes will find small ponies just for them! And their intimidation disappears when they handle horses, it is the most wonderful thing to see.

How I wish I could have found an equestrian center like this when my children were small and starting to ride. That was 18 years ago. Didn't find it then & frankly know no place like it.

My daughter has been riding at this barn for five years and the amazing trainers and staff have taken her from a total beginner to winning the San Mateo County Fair, placing well in shows at Woodside and rated shows at Murietta. In fact all of head trainer Julie Cardonna’s students have benefited from her excellent foundational training and go on to perform very well at shows. In addition to the excellent coaching, this barn offers an amazing community where the older riders support and mentor the younger ones. The summer camp is highly recommended for beginner riders to experience horsemanship, riding instruction and barn life. This is not a frou frou barn where a groom tacks up the horse and hands it to a student who rides for 30 minutes.
