Amplified Off Road — Local services in Palm Coast

I really don't like leaving 1 star reviews of businesses. I understand how much work goes into creating a brand and marketing a business and how hard that is to do. As I am a small business owner.

However, my experience with this company does need to be shared, if nothing else hopefully it encourages changed behavior in the future.

I called to inquire about installation of some car audio parts I bought at Jeep Beach when I first moved to the area. I got a great deal being that it was at a show.

I reached out to Amplified Off-Road to get a quote on installation. As well as to add some other speakers and amps that I didn't purchase yet.

The gentleman on the phone who identified himself as the owner, was literally admonishing me for not buying the parts from him as he is a ds18 distributor. He made it known he didn't care to complete my install because I didn't purchase from him. He was so short and rude with me that I didn't even care to explain there are other things I want done now and lots I want done in the future as I am building out a competition Jeep.

Instead I spent over $1000 on labor and another $1200 in more audio parts with a mobile car audio technician who will be doing all of my lighting, car audio and visual...

There was a number of issues and conversations that bothered me. First,I had to bring my car in twice. First time at 8:30am and picked it up at closing (6pm), and I was asked to pay even more money when the car wasn’t finished. That was slightly irritating, but somewhat understandable I guess. The second time I had dropped off the car at 8:30am, texted him at 4pm asking if the car was almost finished, and he had not even started it. Finally finished around 7pm. He was rude and acted like he was rushed when I simply asked him when to be there to pick it up. Next, I believe he truly rushed through the process, which was unacceptable for the amount of money I spent. He didn’t take the time to actually listen to my wishes, and just hurried up to get it done and move onto the next one. I was generous with 2 stars because the system sounds good. I ended up having some audio issues with my Victory Cross Country 8Ball . On a trip back home my subs cut out and would only play through the front dash speakers. I called Travis at Amplified Off Road , he stated that he was booked for the next week solid , however , after explaining my schedule situation, he kindly had me bring my bike up for a quick diagnosis. By the end of the day Travis had the audio system properly diagnosed and the solution already in play! He called to let me know what the issues were and with my approval he had the audio rectified and ready for pick up the very next morning! If you're looking for true professional craftsmanship with prompt service at an awesome price range, look no further and book any and all your needs and wants with this professional business!!
