Worst customer service we experienced in dealing with a vendor first with product and then with service involving the senior manager and owner. We wanted to write our whole experience but are limited to characters. We received a thoughtful souvenir gift from a friend who went on a cruise sailing from the USA. We were thrilled to receive a bag of honey toasted pecans from The Nut House. Unfortunately when we open the bag the pecans did not smell right. The gentleman who we spoke to (Daniel) said that he had never had this type of feedback and that this was one of their best sellers. I apologized that this was the case with our nuts but it was the case. After much discussion he would be more than happy to assist us but that we would have to send the product back down to them. I would have been more than happy to send the product back to them but certainly not at my cost We left matters as we were dealing with a bereavement planning in our family and then reached out again - now hoping to speak to the owner as we didn't agree with how matters were handled. Once I spoke to the “owner" the lady expressed the same tonality and behavior that Daniel did. After speaking with her extensively and conveying how this was perceived on our end she asked me to reach out to our friends to ask them for the receipt so that they would refund them the money. I explained to them that this would put us in an awkward position and that it wasn't really the ideal situation. She finally said to leave the matters with her to discuss with the manager and that they would follow up with me. More than a week later we still had no response - I emailed them and advised them that I would be posting a review of the poor service and experience that we had in dealing with the company. We were disappointed with the quality of the product but appalled with the attitude, judgement and lack of professionalism from the manager /owners. In explaining my past experiences dealing with this type of issue the source company would absorb the cost of sending the product back to them and often would generously replace the item with a new one. and replace it. After I advised that I was going to leave a review about my experience they then responded and opted to criticize me - stating that this was the most bizarre situation they experienced. Furthermore, they went on to attack my person stating that this appeared to be a habit based on me providing them with experiences that I had in the past with other companies. They went on to say that if I wrote a review that I should post their response to me - I would have been more than willing to do that but will leave it for them to do this for fear of misquoting them and being critiqued again. They said that no one had ever had any complaints or issues with them or their products but I have now seen on line other people who were less than pleased. Please read other reviews - comments on quality, price and rudeness can be found here or on Yelp. The owner/ manager are free to judge me if they wish but I believe that customers have the right to express their findings in a professional and courteous way. While in this case it is a negative experience I also praise and compliment equally when merited. I hope that others will not experience the same sort of issue that we had – either with product or representative. The manager and owner were very boastful to say that they sell millions of bags a year with this being a top seller – funny enough with all those profits they were not able to cover the cost to send back a bag of nuts but expected the customer to do so. We hope you have a better experience. Please forgive talk text errors -...
Read moreOkay so, this place has a wide variety of tasty wines and honey and treats BUT it's expensive AND I've been in there a dozen plus times usually to buy packaged treats or wine as gifts and 1: the one older guy in there shadows me everytime I'm in there and literally follows me trying to get me to buy more stuff, it's annoying... 2: he tells me EVERYTIME that TODAY the $26 wine is a dollar off each if I buy 3 (a joke)... 3: I have not bought the nuts or pecans but besides being expensive I heard stories of them being rotten... 4: Its very pricey (especially for quality)... I've come to the point where I literally run in get what I want and get out (usually just wine). I can't find the wine anywhere else but if I could find it for cheaper,...

The jams were interesting at 7.99 a jar. They have so many trinkets people used to buy in the 80/90's. Really people still buy snow globes saying Florida inside??
The pecans looked good but expensive. I was determined to find the 1.00 bag of fruit - cuz that's what got me to stop. It was 2 overripe oranges in a bag.
I was walking in the liquor section and one of the workers came up to me and asked if I've ever tried fruit wine. I responded, yes. I should have responded, all wine is fruit wine. They wanted 20.99 a bottle.
I DID want the large fruit trees they have in the lot before you enter. They were awesome! Another time. I did not see a...
