Intentional Deception AND Misrepresentation Cars resulting in unfair gainïŒ I went to get my Audi repaired, and they told me the repair would be very expensive, so I started looking at the used Teslas they were selling. Both their website and the salespeople told me it was a long-range used car, and they even said their price was the cheapest.(How dare!)
But after I paid for the Tesla, they said the repairs for this new pre-owned tesla would take a week. A week later, when I picked up the car, I discovered that it was not what they were describing to meâit was actually a mid-range used Tesla. (Long range should be more expensive but it was not long range!)
On the day I purchased it, all the employees told me it was a long-range and I did a test drive where I found some issues, but I could only access the Tesla app to check the information after I picked it up. When I do the test drive I did not assume they would lie! and the squeaky noise took all my attention so I didn't realize it was fraud)
They deliberately deceived customers on their internal website, supported by the lies of the sales. When I confronted them today, I found out that the management instructed all employees not to tell the truth, they all say they did not know anything about the car, even though I recovered the browsing history from their website showing that they had clearly misrepresented the car. When I show this proof their manager did not even want to look at it, and they did not do anything. No refund, no swap!
This is outright fraudulent sales!
I don't even know how much more they charged me, (it also includes all the stuff they said it was mandatory: 1780 for max shield ) . They said that once I signed the contract, they wouldn't deal with me.
No matter what price I paid it is legit because it was I paid. DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING!!!!! LEAVE! WALK AWAY! DON'T GO!! But it was apparently over priced and it is only reasonable if it is long range, which it is not!! The contract doesn't specify long-range or mid-range and when I sign I did not even question that because everyone in there said it is long ranged. Either they entered it incorrectly and then refuse to own their mistake or they just want to lie and take advantage of me. Money doesn't grow on my trees, those men in the dealership probably see a young woman like a lamb to the slaughter. It's not just a matter of deceiving customers, it's frightening that so many grown men would collectively lie to a woman during the day for money. I would like to return this car and purchase a new one but they refused.
Why would anyone want to lie to a customer in the face? For the same mileage, only a long-range car would justify this price. If they hadn't deceived me into thinking it was a long-range car, I would never have paid on the same day within few hours! I really liked my Audi and only this fake âdealâ made me want to pay cash on the same day. I trusted them and bought this car within a few hours, and a week later, I received a completely fraudulent product. They said they take information down from the website and will not even try to justify for their pricing. (even I have the proof that they lied!)
Now, all the employees pretend they never said anything, and one of the manager even challenged me to sue them if I had the guts.
He said if I call them fraudulent business then it is done. The exactly same model at the neighboring dealership(walking distance) is $1000 cheaper, and the mileage is only half of what they sold me. I deeply regret not checking the reviews before going, and I naively trusted the salespeople at the time. I just thought Audi is a good brand and I should trust this brand but people sitting there, their human nature is evil. They know once you paid them, it's their money. It's annoying that they would rather have all the employees lie than admit their mistakes and give me a refund. All you have to do is refund the money, but you prefer to lie collectively in the daytime. God...

The day when I got EXTORTED on a broad day light by Audi staff that too for a loaner.
I had the worst experience of my life with a reputed brand like Audi. This dealership and its CON staff robbed me of 175$ in broad day light.
On June 6th 11 am, I dropped off my Audi Q5 for a 55k service under Audi Care. They said they would take time to work on it and on asking promised me a loaner - An Grey Audi Q3 (VIN #WA1EFCFSXGR014549), the car was parked on their parking lot along with 100 other Audi's, you cant even see all sides of the car properly. A lady showed my the car marked the small damages it had and handed me the paper. I took a casual look an in good faith as I was dealing with Audi, saw no major dents and drove away.
I go back home, park the car. DID NOT use it until my return.
On June 8th 8:30, My daughter sick all night. I rush back to pick my car as I had to take her to the doctor as Audi would charge me for the loaner if I am late. I handover the keys to the drop off staff and walk casually to the service office to meet the biggest crook I have come across - Mr Justin Yaeger. He says me to pick my car and go, As I head out he calls me back and says that I have a dent on the driver side of the loaner car.
To my astonishment, firstly I thought he was joking or being too cautious. We walk together to the car and EVEN THE GREAT "JUSTIN YEAGER" COULD NOT SEE ANY DENTS. Then he calls the guy who did the check and that guy comes and rolls his hand on the body and then shows a very light dent which you cant see with bare eyes. Its probably one of those dents you get when someone next to you opens the door next to you. There was absolutely no proof that it happened in my possession. It took three people to find that minor dent for which they were about to charge me.
But, to my dismay and misfortune, they blamed it all on me and started asking me for paying them to fix it. They were not ready to believe that I dint take the car anywhere and It could also be a miss from the guy who checked before handing it over to me AS THE DENT COULD NOT BE SEEN. I showed him few more small scratches on the car, to that he THREATENED me that he is going to add those too if I don't pay this up.
This was a pure intimidation, zero trust on customer and a genuine form of extortion. The crook was not ready to listen to me with any form of empathy. I felt so miserable being looked up as a culprit for . If I can afford a 40 grand Audi, I can pay 175$, thats not the issue, but he made me pay for a damage that was not proven to be in my possession which even he couldn't see with his eyes. Finally, I had to pay them, I was shaking in distress and disbelief, and could even sign the paper.
There is no full proof automated checking process before releasing these loaner cars except visual checking, which is flawed, plus when you release the car to run on roads its subjected to minor wear and tear. For a dent like that to charge a customer with no proof that the damage was 100% in his possession, these guys are running a ponzy scheme to keep their used car inventory up to date.
I wonder how such people can be employed serving customers for a brand like Audi. How such human being with zero integrity and ethic can work in a customer relations industry, how a company like Audi and can allow such practices to be prevalent in broad day light.
This would be my last visit to them. I would suggest pls avoid this ponzy scammers.
I am about to file a consumer complaint and pursue legal actions for this ordeal I went through.
If you DON'T BELIEVE ME, Check the pics I posted of the door for which I got charged. You wont...
Read moreAn absolute shop of horrors. Let me take you back: Last year, June 2023, my boyfriend and I walked into audi palo alto and purchase two cars, buy all the audi care, and add on all the extra insurances just for the peace of mind. This summer, my boyfriendâs moon roof came off the tracks and needed to be fixed. This repair took 4 weeks and when we got the car back, the repair was not even completed and they managed to chip paint on the roof of the car. HOWEVER this is not even the worst experience at this dealership. I brought my car in August 2024 because I had a tire puncture. I asked my service advisor if the car could be left at the dealership since I was going out of town and he said no problem. When I got the car back I noticed two things. 1. They didnât put the audi logo cap in the middle of the tire back on my tire (looks extremely trashy), and 2. When I used my windshield wipers, my car would be flooded with the smell of HUMAN PEE. Now, mind you, I am a woman, and I am already skeptical of car dealerships, so I really did not want to think this is what it was. I gaslight myself for weeks because I just couldnât believe it. I finally asked my boyfriend to drive the car, knowing he would immediately use the windshield wiper fluid. As soon as he got in the car he called me asking why my car smelled like piss. I started bawling and told him itâs been like this since I picked the car up. He, in a fury, brought my car in immediately. This was on a Friday. All service advisors confirmed with him that my suspicion was correct and a shop employee had indeed pissed in my windshield wiper fluid reservoir. They took my car over the weekend to do a full investigation, which is just scary. They never told me the course of action for the employee who peed in my car which is very unprofessional. That employee should have been fired immediately, as every square inch of that place is being recorded. They then said they would make it right and give us a good offer on a new car, as mine was completely violated. They did not complete their investigation until the next wednesday, after they said it would only take the weekend. My boyfriend went to pick the car up at 11:00 am and to speak with the sales manager about the offers, and when he showed up, the sales manager was not even there yet. He then had to go all the way back at 1, only to be offered 2k off a new car that wasnât even comparable to my old car. My boyfriend said no, and said weâre going to start having to look at other options. Which is our right as the consumer. The sales manager got really upset and in my boyfriendâs face, saying he was threatening them (which he wasnât, I was actually threatened when my car was peed in). After the way the sales manager treated my boyfriend after we have been only trying to work with them is sick. The whole shop needs to be shut down.
Bite the bullet and drive to Rector in Burlingame. Save your car and...
