We stopped by the Starbucks at Edgewood Plaza Shopping Center in Palo Alto for a refreshing drink on a casual outing, and we grabbed our order quickly to enjoy outside. As a convenient chain spot in this neighborhood shopping center, it provided a solid caffeine-free pick-me-up with reliable service and a clean environment. ATMOSPHERE:
This local Starbucks has a comfortable, modern vibe think spacious seating for about 30-40 inside with plenty of tables, outlets for laptops, and that familiar coffee shop hum from neighborhood regulars and shoppers. The decor is standard with warm tones and ample natural light, located right off the 101 for easy access, drawing a mix of commuters and locals. Bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant stop. It’s bustling yet efficient, perfect for a quick visit or lingering work session in Palo Alto’s Edgewood area. MENU:
Standard Starbucks lineup here, featuring hot and iced coffees, teas, Refreshers, espresso drinks, and seasonal items, plus pastries, sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Bottled drinks and merchandise round it out no frills, but dependable for everyday cravings in a shopping center setting. FOOD:
Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher
We went for the dragonfruit lemonade, a vibrant, tropical refresher blending sweet dragonfruit and tart lemonade with real fruit pieces for a juicy, ice-cold sip that was perfectly refreshing on a warm day. Not too sweet, with that eye-catching pink hue, it hit the spot as a caffeine-free option solid choice for something light and fruity, ranking among our favorite non-coffee picks at Starbucks. SERVICE:
No line when we arrived, and service was quick the baristas were efficient, friendly, and had our drink ready in minutes without any hassle. Mobile ordering would make it even faster for busier times. TIPS:
Use the Starbucks app for mobile orders to breeze through, especially during peak shopping hours. It’s drive-thru free, so park in the shopping center lot (plenty of spots) and walk in. Prices are typical chain rates, but rewards help for regulars. Combine with nearby shops for a full errand run, and note the convenient freeway access for quick stops. OVERALL:
Was it worth the stop? Absolutely. This Starbucks at Edgewood Plaza delivers reliable drinks like the dragonfruit lemonade in a clean, quick-service spot that’s ideal for Palo Alto shoppers. We’ll pop in again next time we’re in the area.

Pretty average Starbucks. That is to say, the coffee is great, but the baristas are overworked, and now they are forced to write banal trivialities on the cups - apparently to make it less banal. The morning rush is a zoo with people picking up mobile orders and cramped space for them to wait. Some times the entire order isn’t delivered in one shot. Great place to catch up with your network though. Especially in summer it’s nice to sit outside to have a coffee and go about your day. Parking can be very tight!

Awesome service. The baristas are so friendly. I started coming here because of my job was in the area and fell I love with the location and service. It’s got all the items a normal Starbucks has and the bathroom are so clean and I love the interior design. Very classy

The baristas really know how to make a great drink, and are easy going. This is my favorite Starbucks because it is very peaceful and low-key right after work (between 4 and 5 weekdays). It is in a quiet corner of a miniature strip mall at the edge of a residential area, but still easy to get to off 101 or Bayshore. I would give it a 5 star review but the other day the manager came in and ruined the whole vibe. He had mini-tantrum, scraping chairs in at the long table where I was sitting (he could have picked them up but whatever) and complaining out loud about how the store was out of food (it was low on some favorites but no one else was pitching a fit about it). I actually thought he was just a rude customer until he started spot mopping the floor...spraying right around me where there was very little room without excusing himself (the floor was not even that dirty anywhere but by the door, but whatever, I love the smell of cleaner while I try to eat). He complained about everything out loud as a way to chastise the employees as he went...which is not such as lovely thing to listen to...personally I think it's always most appropriate to criticize your employees privately. He was just a nuisance, but he's usually not...

I ordered 2 beverages the first one was great the second one was all wrong I went back to ask for more heavy cream in my second drink since they didn't put enough the first time and they fill my whole cup almost with heavy cream so I leave unhappy again so i ask my boyfriend to go back and ask for a refund and the manager has the nerve to tell me they can't give me a refund which I know they can because I myself work at a Starbucks then instead of giving me my money back he gives me a gift card that has only $4 mind you my drink costs way more than four dollars he didn't want to refund me my money which is ridiculous because I have every right to a refund especially if I'm a unhappy customer. All of the employees were rude and unhappy except for the young man who helped me on the register he was very nice. Other than that I give this Starbucks 7 thumbs down not the first time I go in and...
