TLDR: Come for the staff and reasonable prices, but measure everything and check the doors.
Pros -Staff: Jess has been amazing since the first day we toured. She was patient while we viewed multiple floor plans and came back for a second tour. She understood the intricacies of finding a comfortable home for my aging grandmother. She helped my grandmother by proving her a stable arm in our first meeting to a comforting soul after moving in. She goes above and beyond to help however she can. Jess would pick up my grandmother’s paper and deliver it to her door. She would check on her. She made sure we were able to get a garage. If I could give more than five stars, I would because of her. -Size: the open living room/kitchen area is huge (in the three bedroom) -Cost: they are reasonably priced especially for the amenities (gym, pool, attached garage) -Straight-price for water, sewer, garbage -Appliances: the washing machine and dryer are very nice with a wide variety of settings. The washer is top-loading with auto-sensing and is high efficiency. -We haven’t needed to use the air conditioner this spring yet. It stays very cool (first floor) -Maintenance installed grab bars quickly (again, Jess was quick to ensure that maintenance responded to our needs and completed this task ASAP)
Cons -Snow came in under the patio door during winter until we got a draft guard -Insulation: It was difficult to keep the living room warm in the winter, but it was better with the draft guard. -Electric did run over $200 once. Then we got the draft guard and it stayed under $200. -Size: The bedrooms can be a little small. Make sure you measure before you rent. King size beds may not easily fit with other furniture. -Hot water: (keep in mind this is a three-bedroom) you can do two or three things using hot water before you run out (two showers or one shower, load of laundry, and dishes). Three showers and the third person runs out.
Edit: more snow is coming in this year despite a new weather strip installed by maintenance, two other weather strips, and a door guard. I can’t say this is a...
Read moreUPDATE 12/3/22: I have lived here for 12 months and it's still the most bang for your buck when it comes to costs. The main selling point it the townhouse layout with attached garage.
However, the place has gone downhill over the past year so my rating is dropping to 1 star. Started out great which is why I gave it 4 stars to begin with (minus a few immediate issues) but now it’s just unbearable. When you get excited about traveling or going to visit friends/parents just to get away from your place – it’s a sign there is a problem. Previous neighbors were great but now I feel we are moving to section 8 housing. New neighbors smoke pot all the time which has caused my entry, kitchen, and living area to reek of smoke. Half the time I hide out in the bedroom to get away from it. Only way to air it out is to leave the door open to the garage which is allowing mice and bugs into my home. Loud parties until 2am, new neighbors with dogs aren't picking up after them, and front door frame is shotty which allows in all the cold air and snow. Hot water last maybe 12 minutes. Not even long enough to fill the bath. While Jess in the front office is great and Lindsay in maintenance – the new neighbors that are moving in are TERRIBLE! Avoid...
Read moreBy far the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment. Upon moving in they tried to pull a switcheroo and gave us a different unit than was agreed upon and then acted like they had no clue, when really they were just hoping we would not say anything. Had to fight with them day one to get what was agreed on. Then there was a huge residue stain on the carpet along with multiple either burn or grease stains. They never fixed the grease/burn stains and we had to fight with them for a month to send someone out to clean the residue stain. The two women in the office are the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. Just got my deposit check back and they stole nearly $800 from us for "carpet cleaning and pet treatment" for $290 and another 450 for replacing carpet in a closet. The place was thoroughly cleaned and there was nothing wrong with the carpet outside of normal wear and tear that would come with having pets which we paid a $500 non refundable deposit for. These are over priced cheaply built apartments with a fancy name and nice looking exterior. I would not recommend this place to my...
