We've gone in years past and enjoyed it. The vendors remain great, but this year they were not ready for the capacity of attendees. Opening day of 2022 was a disaster. They did not handle parking responsibly and dozens of cars were trapped in due to double parking. We witnessed people trapped in and missing work, cars having to be towed, and we happened to go out to the parking lot and our car was about to be trapped in. We had to get out when we could, so we missed the main event of the joust. It was very disappointing and the mismanagement of the event as a whole detracted from the effort and talent put in by the performers. Had there been some sort of emergency, it could have been very dangerous.

From clothing to professional braiding the people here want to give the best to their people; no matter how young or old. The only constructive criticism I have to mention are a few conveniences that could move up the bar a little for the summer time. 1) sitting areas with & without shade 2) water stations; yes, vendors have them but small, water bottle or filling stations 3) random misters; all you need is a hose and either a mister or a string of misters. Read moreLast year was my first time going to this renaissance festival so the first time was so much more exciting. This year I kind of knew what to expect it wasn't as exciting but it is still a really fun time and so neat seeing all the stuff at the all the vendors. My kids weren't able to be with me this year so I was able to see everything a lot faster and relax more while doing it, but it just wasn't the same without them. I really enjoyed it and look forward to going again next year it's probably going to be a new tradition for me...
