I've been to this location three times in the last two weeks. The first trip, I had no issues. The second one, the DAY AFTER the first one, I was with my husband and daughter, as soon as I walked in, an older gentleman bum rushed me. "You can't have that bag in here" and I said it's my purse (it's a little black backpack, but not big enough to put anything in besides my wallet, keys and phone) and he said "yeah I hear that all the time but with all the theft we've been having, no bags, totes or backpacks are allowed in here." Well that's funny. No one said anything to me about it yesterday. But now all of a sudden, it's a problem. I just ignored it, got what we came for and then left. The third trip, I went in there this past Saturday. I didn't take my purse in so I wouldn't have any issues. Well they had a box of glue from the back to school stuff that said 50 cents each, so I was going to buy the whole box, 12 of them for $6. My daughter and I love to make slime so that would've been great for us. But I take it to the register, and guess what, they don't ring up like they said. I asked for help, the same guy that had something to say about my bag, came and said he was going to go ask his boss and see what she says. He comes back and said "she said I could give you ONE at 50 cents. Out of 12. I said I'll take two then, and he said I'll go ahead and give you the second for 50 cents. Like really? Come on now. The only thing I said is I don’t know why ya’ll offer digital coupons if you aren’t gonna honor them I had asked her if my digital coupons went through and she said no and that was my response and this girl lost her mind. She was hollering and said you must not know what you are doing and when I would say something back she got louder and argued back with me. What is she doing in customer service. When I called the manager up there he didn’t want to hear what I had to say and let his cashier speak to me however she wanted. When I said I won’t be back they both said good and she proceeded to tell me where other dollar stores were. Totally unprofessional. I will not be back!!!!! Not the first time I have been disrespected and talked to this way and the management does nothing. They need to train their employees. All of this could have been avoided if she had just took the time to show me how to do the coupons. Customer Service is non existent. I was let go for accidentally slamming my drawer. This store is always out of everything you need, their prices always ring up more than what they have listed which are crazy high to begin with, the lines are ten miles long because they only ever have a single cashier and the employees always seem angry and bothered. The guy "Lee" is literally one of the most hateful bitter men I've ever seen who yells at kids just for saying something was in the clearance section & gets bothered by people who ask for a price check because something is in the clearance section. The store is always a mess and God forbid something is on sale, it never rings up as such and when you call it out the employees get annoyed with you as of its your fault their prices aren't correct in their computer. I just made my last trip to this store. I spent 20 years in upper retail management, here is my advice... Fire your employees (Start with LEE) and start over, this store...
