Started off strong, then the ship almost sank, and it ended with a blonde barkeep saving the day. Ordered over $100 worth of food over the phone as a pickup order, Road up on my jet ski to grab it but it wasn't ready yet so I settled up with the lovely blonde bar keep who is super nice. Waited a while food finally came out and luckily I had the thought to double check to make sure everyone's stuff was in there before taking it back to the family at the beach spot. We had doubles of some things and missing of others, I brought it up to the lovely blonde barkeep and she snapped right into action about helping and correcting it and was very polite the whole time and I feel she even went above and beyond to making things right and I appreciate every moment of her time about the instance. Long story short come to find out the gentleman who took the order let us order a bunch of stuff off the online menu that does not actually exist so unfortunately we had to substitute some items. Now out of all of this it wasn't terrible but unfortunately I have to wonder why most of the food was so dark or overcooked. The two stars is purely for that amazing blonde barkeep who I unfortunately did not grab her name but she was an absolute RockStar at her job the rest of the three stars that I did not give is due to the rest of the weird experience that did not make me want to return. Other than the food experience I do want to give a huge wow to how much they have changed the place, we used to drive by and it looked absolutely nothing like it does now, it's crazy with vibrant Awakening colors and great artwork all over the place all the way down to the actual bar countertop in the floating section...
Read moreFun experience for sure and it was packed the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Be prepared to wait. We waited about 45 minutes in line just to order our food. Then about another 45 minutes for our food. We did, however, have a large group. The food is good bar food, but it's bar food. The lady who took our order is definitely a rock star. She was efficient at taking the orders, getting the drinks, taking the money, calling out who's order was ready next and telling you what it was that was coming out. Every employee we talked with delivered excellent customer service. Our group ranged from 18 months old-85 years old. The reason I'm not giving a 5 star is they can use a deep clean and some updating. The bathrooms were gross and pretty much everywhere I looked needed some kind of work done. High chair straps were broken and the booster was dirty. We made do and had a great time. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you have the chance to dock in your boat. If you get motion sickness, it's not for you. If you are impatient, it's not for you. If you are up tight, it's not for you. If you are any of those things but you are adventurous then give...
Read moreI give it a one because there's no zero. My wife and I went in there a couple days ago on a friends recommendation. He said the place had just been remodeled and was very nice with good food. We sat at the bar where there were three others and two tables with people seated and 4 girls working the floor that includs the one behind the bar. Not very busy. One of the girls off the floor came behind the bar and made a couple of bloody Mary's in front of us. We commented to each other how good they looked and said we're gonna have to get some of those. She had to hear us. That was after we had been sitting there for 10-15 minutes. No one said we'll be with you in a minute, hello, welcome, made eye contact or anything. The girl working behind the bar didn't seem to be serving anybody but talking to a guy sitting at the south end of the bar. After about another 10 minutes another fella walked in and sat at the south end of the bar and immediately got served a beer. At that point we walked out and went down to the Pirates Den where we were immediately greated with a smile, seated and got immediate service and great food and the...
