Florida Airboating - Everglades Airboat Tours — Local services in Parkland

This company is absolutely horrible! We booked a trip with them for today with our two small children at 11:30. We came to the place that was indicated at the email at 11:15. At 11:20 other companies started to show and pick up their groups, we kept asking each captain if they were our guide. At 12 we received a text message from them that they are charging us for no show. When my husband tried to contact the captain or the managers no one was responding (the connection was very bad too). We kept trying to call them, eventually we got a hold of someone in the office, they said that the captain couldn’t find us (we had been waiting at the designated ramp sign that was emailed us since 11:15am). We started to ask other captains if they know anything about ours, one guy said that he saw his boat with another group on the water, but that he picks up people in a different place (not where we were waiting for him). We drove there and at 1:30pm a Florida Airboat came back with a group of teenagers. When we asked him why he didn’t look for us. He said that he wasn’t our captain, the captain that was supposed to take us didn’t come. But he always parks where he parks and he wasn’t supposed to look for us. When we left, we got some weird messages from I would assume our captain saying that his engine broke… The whole thing was a disaster, no one from the company ever said sorry, they were evasive over and over. I don’t think I ever had such a horrible client service...

Had the best experience with Captain Chris on our Everglades tour! Chris shared his deep knowledge of the area, pointing out the many natural wonders of the Everglades, including an abundance of alligator and bird sightings, along with interesting facts on the region’s unique ecosystem. All the while he kept us entertained with anecdotes that touched on the history of the Everglades, the hardy souls that made their living in “huts” built amongst the Everglades and even some personal stories that made the trip all the richer! Had an amazing time yesterday! I booked the 90 minute ride. I got to the location and was greeted by Jim who, as it turns out, owns his own outfit but there was a complication and the two companies sometimes work collaboratively to make sure the customers are taken care of. Had that not happened I believe our tour may have been canceled. This meant so much to me that they were able to work together like this. As far as the ride goes, it was absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful everything worked out. Would definitely recommend, would have loved to stay out there longer.
