Really well maintained golf course and fun too. Views are great and the greens looked 5o be in decent shape. Definitely one of the best public courses I have played and the price is very fair also. The course is 5 stars but I'm giving it 3 stars for two reasons that other reviewers have also complained about. The first is about the price. I reserved online for $31 and made sure to click the public tee time link as other have warned that they change the price when you get there. Of course, when I got there, they said it was going to be $45 and that the price I saw was for card members even though made sure I didn't click that. They really need to fix the website as it's a mess to book the right tee times. 2nd reason is the pace of play. First 3 holes took 1 hour and 20 min to get through, which is crazy to me. Luckily by hole 7 it started to pick up but still was a 4 hour and 50 min round. Overall, great course but sketchy prices and bad pace of play keeps it from being great.

I've had many golfers recommend this course to me over the past 5 years. I finally had the opportunity to get a round of golf in at Osprey Point. What a phenomenal hidden gem this is. It reminds me of Plantation Preserve, very lush and well-maintained. There's a great opportunity for plenty of birdies, you just have to stay focused and try to keep it in the fairway. There's trouble just about everywhere but stay focused and you can get a good round in. The greens were very slow which was difficult, but it had just rained the night before. As of today May of 2019 the clubhouse is still being built but it looks like it will have great views when it's completed. The driving range is double sided so people are hitting from both ends. It was packed when I was there for the Golf Channel AM tour and now I know why. What a great place to play golf, I can't wait for the next round.

It's definitely one of my favorites! It's always in exceptional conditions even after days of S. FL summer pouring. It's one of the top 5 public courses in the tri-counties. Accurate tee shots are required and the course is unforgiven for erroneous shots. Tee to green conditions are nothing to complain about. It's just feel good when you play at this natural beauty. This is a very popular course especially during the golf season.

I played here for the first time yesterday, and I have to say—this is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained courses I’ve seen in South Florida. The conditions were excellent, and overall, the staff—including the rangers and other team members—were incredibly polite, helpful, and respectful. Everyone treated us well… except for one person.

Unfortunately, the starter was so unnecessarily rude that it genuinely took away from an otherwise great experience.

It was our first time playing the course, so my friend and I weren’t sure where to go or whether both starting tickets were needed. Before we could even ask, the starter abruptly demanded both tickets and pointed vaguely toward the first tee—no welcome, no clarification, just attitude. He then told us he’d call us when it was our turn, again in the most dismissive tone possible.

While we waited, we walked over to the putting green. I need glasses and didn’t notice the sign saying it was closed. Instead of calmly letting us know, the starter practically shouted, “CAN HE READ?” toward me. I didn’t want to get angry or make a scene—especially because this guy could’ve been my grandpa—but it was honestly hard to believe someone in a customer-facing role would act like that.

After the front 9, we politely asked him which back 9 we were playing. His response: “YOU’RE PLAYING HAWK, AND YOU’RE BACK HERE BY 8.” No eye contact, no courtesy, just barking instructions like we were kids who’d done something wrong.

When we finished the round, we noticed someone had left their rangefinder. We rolled down the window and said, “Excuse me, sir”—he didn’t even acknowledge us. We handed it to him so it could be turned in to lost and found and said, “Thank you, have a good night.” All he said was: “Yeah.”

This is genuinely one of the best golf courses I’ve played in the area, and the rest of the staff—rangers included—were excellent. But this one individual was by far the most miserable and unprofessional person I’ve encountered...

Love this course, but the management/workers are horrific. Politely asked the starter to have a ranger speed people up because the first 9 holes took 2 1/2 hours. Was give multiple excuses and was told “no other course is better” when I never asked to switch courses. Just wanted someone to speed up the groups. Nothing was done, played a 5 hour. Then we booked a tee time under “regular” rates at $32 a person. Brought in a PGA pass that offers a discount on the round, because you can’t show you have a PGA pass online you have to bring it in when you pay. They charged us $32 a person when we showed up. I asked why there wasn’t a discount, and then told me the $32 was the discounted rate and the normal rate is $41. I then recommended they check the website because they have $32 as the regular price. The man in the clubhouse got aggressive and accused me of trying to just get my money back, that I was in the wrong, he just blew me off, said we booked our tee time under frequent player (which requires a login that we don’t have) and he told me “we’ve heard this one before.” I Just tried to let them know and was accused of being a liar and just trying to get a discount. I was fine with paying the $32 if that is the actual discounted rate (a great deal) but the way I was treated after recommending that their website was wrong...

THE ESSENCE OF FLORIDA GOLF!!!!!

Play this course — you will love it. Each hole is more gorgeous than the next. The greens are in impeccable condition and rolling firm, fast, and true.

We played the Raven (9) then the Flacon (9) and I can honestly say this course is more beautiful and in better shape than many private tracks I’ve played.

The setting makes all the difference. You won’t find any homes or busy highways near by — only tranquil nature preserves with indigenous wildlife everywhere.

This is the way Florida golf is supposed to be.

Something should also be said about the superintendent — “Way to go!” The course is in pristine condition only days after Hurricane Irma. That’s amazing!

Congratulations to the entire staff for running such a great facility. From the moment we arrived were greeted with a smile at the bag drop, followed by friendly service in the pro shop. The starter was knowledgeable and gregarious. On the turn we stopped by the snack bar and found freshly made sandwiches and cold beer. What more can you ask for.

We will play this course...
