This was my second time visiting LaLa Land with my family. The first time was in August 2020 and we loved it! Today, we’ve decided we will not be returning. Unfortunately, the place is just too disgustingly dirty!!! I went to check other reviews to see if I was overreacting but there are numerous reviews complaining of the same thing and they have been consistently brought up for the last YEAR!!!
That tells me that the owners do not care. If you haven’t made the adjustment in one year, then you are not ever planning to make them. We arrived at about 3:30pm today. The floor, as pictured below, was filthy. People were still wearing shoes on the foam mats and nobody stopped them. My baby was still crawling and I did not want him on the floor at all. There was trash on the floor in the toddler area, and all in the eating area.
The bathroom smelled horrible and had dirty bathroom tissue on the floor. Another woman and I both walked into stalls and we both had to ask someone to find us bathroom tissue.
The tube slide section went from 6 tubes to 2 tubes, in which older kids keep snatching them from younger kids. My husband had to stop some from trying to take the tube from my four-year-old as he was making his way up the stairs to the slide. There used to be someone watching this area, making sure everyone got a turn and that it was safe.
The worst part was that I ordered chicken tenders with fries and as the girl brought them out, half of it spilled on the counter. She took a plastic knife and fork and used them to put the fallen food back on the little plate!! 🤮🤮🤮 Based on how dirty the place was, who knows if they ever wipe the counter tops?!?! She was not wearing any gloves and was also working the front desk taking customers money.
Recommendations: Hire a company that just cleans throughout the day, especially on busy days. Teach your staff protocols when serving food
It is sooo sad because it really was a great place the first time we came. Please don’t reply to me with some generic message about what you are trying to do because it is evident you aren’t....
Read moreNot what it used to be...Never returning. Staff have the worst attitudes. Front desk issues signing in(11-09-2024@3:30). After I was instructed to go to the gate to get my wrist bands...a worker yells over to me in a scolding aggressive tone "No. Get away from the gate, there's a line!" I flatly said "Don't talk to me like that. Speak w your coworker. She told me to come here". With a pissed look on her face says "How was I supposed to know?!" I said "Regardless you shouldn't talk to me like that, ask your coworker". She replies "I'm a supervisor!" as a matter of fact like she's above talking to them because she's in charge. I said "Then you should know better. You work here, you dont talk to customers like that". MADDIE had an angry face, aggressive tone & not once apologized for her misunderstanding & rude attitude. She kept talking w her coworkers saying "is she still mad?!"(they were all looking down & away, as if this happens a lot w her). I was still standing there only because the girl helping me only gave me 2 of 3 bands before she started helping the next person. I called the next day 11/10/2024 @10am & asked to speak w a manager. She says "Im a manager". She sounded like the girl from the day before so I asked "To clarify are you a manager or supervisor? I had an incident w a supervisor the day before?". VERY irritated says "Im a manager.". I say "what's your name?". "Bella, what happened?". I said "clearly this is a systematic issue, because you are being very irritable & rude as well". She says "Well you axed me twice if i was a manager". I corrected her slang & just asked for an email to the owner....if you are wondering why your business is failing-Look at your staff. They are half the reason ppl dont return. Also there was a garbage can surrounded by dirty rags in the toddler area. I assume...
Read moreMy family has been to this place several times, however this review is based on our latest visit. One of my children was not allowed to perform the rock-climbing activity because he was, apparently, about an inch and half too short. What is the problem you say? Well, there are quite a few. First of all, La-La Land makes you $ and and then makes you wait in the line to do rock climbing PRIOR to checking the child's height right before their turn to rock-climb. So you buy a ticket, wait online, and only then get told that you cannot perform this activity. I am not an expert, but whoever designed this terrible workflow needs to get fired because this does not make any sense. The height check must done before they even charge your credit card. The bigger issue, however, is their lack of standards, because only two days prior my son was allowed to rock climb without any issues. Literally two days prior nobody at La-La Land even bothered to check my son's height to confirm he's tall enough to rock climb. We didn't even know this was a thing until today when the issue arose. This is what actually resulted in the terrible experience and got my son very upset, because only a couple of days before he was rock-climbing and enjoying himself and today he was denied. When we explained the situation to the staff, instead of showing compassion they displayed a complete lack of empathy, despite my son crying hysterically in front of them. Needless to say that we will likely not be coming back here. Hopefully this review can save some parents the frustration we've experienced. Also hoping that management will read this review and take appropriate steps to better educate their staff to universally follow protocols as well as improve their...
