I shop at Paxton IGA everyday. The employees are the the BEST !!! The carry out , among careful packing of all groceries is above Excellent , always have what I want and extra sales. The Cashiers are the BEST !!! The Deli is also a Great Team !!! The meat dept, the BEST , a Great Team there ! I can say all names, but I'll be short and say IGA IS EXCELLENT !!! If the men need good snack suggestions, the ladies there give Great suggestions !!! You won't be disappointed !!! But now it's owned by Kirby foods, which is absolutely horrible. Kirby foods ruined our Hometown Grocery Store. The sales suk, hamburger in a tube, etc. The only thing good...

Service is good, prices are very high. I can get an entire cart of groceries for what 2 plastic bags cost me here. They will have good specials and their meat department is better than just about any store around. Their produce department is better than what it used to be, but is very limited. They also need a comic book rack, or better yet ( this an idea for them, has nothing to do with their rating)... offer a buyers guide for comic books an related items and advertise the fact that they take comic book subscriptions. I think that could pull in come good biz for them. Try capital...

Went there at about 7:30 at night and saw there was a cart full of dairy items on the floor. I used to work in dairy and decided to check the temp on the items by touch. The items were room temperature, which I proceeded to tell a manager about. I walked back to the dairy just to watch both the manager and the employee putting the items on the shelf. Anyone who has worked with refrigerated items knows that when temps are between 40 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, bacteria breeds rapidly. This carelessness could potentially harm, or worse,...
