Hardee’s — Restaurant in Paxton

About the only good thing i can say is that they are convenient to the 57 express. Otherwise it was completely unexceptable! We were in a hurry so figured fast food. NOPE, would have taken less time at a sit down restaurant. Placed our order and noticed it was dirty with fried and stuff all over the floor just kicked into and under things. Should have left then but thought the 5$ meals would be economical for a stop on a long road trip. 1/2hr later we were still sitting there waiting. When they did bring our food, 3/4 of the order was wrong so they had to remake it(management yelled loudly from the front at our table that the gal who took our order took it wrong, you NEVER repremand it of customers!!!). Another 10mins go by so I go up and ask because we are on a road trip and loosing time on the road due to this delay. Alot of yelling in the back finally after more then 50mins we got our order super sized, they doubled the chicken and gave us super sized fries. The fries mostly went to waste and found the trash, but had enough chicken left over to have some bites in morning since we were on the road. All in all a very disappointing experience and i would personally never return to this store. The bathrooms were dirty,tables were sticky, they claimed they were busy but I really didn't see many orders go out that night, a group of 3 before us, and the rest(maybe 6 boxes) of an amish order that also got wrong orders(they spent some time getting them fixed) and 2 drive thru in the...

Hardees is a very rare place to find these days in central Illinois with all of them closing down. Since I was passing thru Paxton one night I decided to stop and try some since it has been a while. It was around 8PM, they closed at 10PM. The interior of the restaurant was being mopped and cleaned so I just stuck with the drive thru. Since I was driving I wanted something easy to eat so I ordered a chicken wrap, fries and a small drink. I was very disappointed. I encourage all to check their food purchases before leaving the premises. Once I unwrapped the paper off of the honey mustard chicken wrap, the sauce was all over the paper and very little was actually in the wrap. It was more of a mess to eat than I anticipated. The fries I got were old. I have worked in food business and I can assure that the fries were sitting for quite a while, they were barely edible. The soda I received was very flat and I ended up buying a bottled water up the road in Gilman because it proved to be unfit to drink. If I wasn't already on the interstate when I got to my meal I would of turned around and asked for a refund, but at that point it was more of a hassle to do so. The food was good. I was traveling back to Illinois from Ohio. And I stopped at Hardee's to eat a burger because I had been on the road for about 5 hours already. I saw that they had a free sandwich if you signed up for their app. Which I was trying to do. I didn't understand how to get the free sandwich when I ordered something. I asked two different employees. They didn't know how to do it either. So I had to figure out myself. It took me a good 15 minutes of my time to sign up and figure out that once you order anything. After you order the sandwich that you get to choose from. The price of that sandwich will come off after you have already ordered. So it was very simple they need to train their employees a little better. Especially when they have a big sign on the top of the counter by the registers. They should be able to help the customer out with any promotions deals that they have. But my meal was good for only 2 dollars that's the only reason why I gave it two stars. Otherwise customer service has gone out the window. If you think you're going to get some help at any restaurants or stores anymore you can forget about it.
