Four of us stayed at the dancing rabbit inn under the golf package. the people at the golf club always seem confused about what’s going on. Our gps golf golf carts totally malfunctioned all three days we were there. continually telling us we were in a restricted zone while we r on the cart path. have to go in reverse for a ridiculous time to get it working again. the first day the carts totally quit working and we just took our clubs off and left the course without finishing. Ridiculous and the golf people offered us no concessions or reductions in cost. i think they are clueless about customer service. now for the course. we played the azaleas first pretty hard layout and the greens were ridiculously slow i mean bad. so we played the oaks the next day and the greens were even slower there. very frustrating for such a supposedly high rated golf course. I don’t plan on bringing any of my groups back down here ever again. the golf shop folks were a very non helpful and i knowledgeable group. always had a good opinion of this place until now. may never come back. Sorry dancing rabbit folks but you earned...
Read moreThe golf course was wonderful and our stay at golf lodge was a very nice room and newly renovated. My only issue was the general staff confusion. Went to Inn to check-in and they said go to pro shop, and then the pro shop sent us back to the Inn for check-in. No biggie. Restaurant closes at 6P so eat early. The golf cart for guests was kept in barn and I had to walk down daily and find someone to get it--it was supposed to be parked outside lodge. Our jacuzzi tub had no stopper for drain. They said would bring one right up--never showed up. At checkout we were billed $40 for a replay of golf we never asked for or played. I asked for credit and after 20-minutes of a confused young lady staring at her computer, we left it with her saying she will review it with supervisor. I called a week later and got same routine that a supervisor must approve the credit "call back at noon when a super is here". So, the saga will continue at noon. I am not very optimistic. As for the $20 food credit you get with package--good luck! Nice place, great golf courses, friendly people, but be patient and...
Read moreI played the Azaleas 18. Very nice course. Would be five stars except the day started very strangely. Drove to hole 1, and a starter drove up behind me. Asked for my receipt, which I wasn't told I needed to keep. I was playing with a guy who is a member and the staff knows him. He confirmed I paid. Starter said he needs a receipt. As it's a fair drive back to the clubhouse, I asked if I could just call the pro shop to have the guy there confirm. He said no. I noticed he had a walkie-talkie, and asked if he could just radio the pro shop. He said no. So I drove back, and the guy in the pro shop used his walkie-talkie to radio the starter to tell him I was good to go. Why did the starter refuse to do that?!? It's like he was intentionally trying to be a jerk and tick me off. Just a weird, rude interaction that left a terrible first impression. The course itself was very enjoyable however, not a bad thing to...
